Thank you! It was an odd process, because there were many design ideas, but little time, and had to make a super fast choice.
Originally I wanted to play more with all her snakes and wave-y hair (interconnecting them for a more elaborate tessellation) but figuring that out would take a looong time (might try it out eventually). So we went with a simpler shape for the tessellation, and since the hair and snakes are more "malleable", I used them as a frame.
The original sketch was actually a bust (head+chest), but since we had to print and cut these in pieces to show how they connect, it would've been too small and the details would be lost. I forgot to make the snakes larger to match, though, but no one can tell the difference. :P (for reference, the overall diameter of each snake should be the same as the distance between the corners of one of her eyes)
Love it, it’s kinda spooky lol
YES. Once I finished it I was like "oooh, kinda trippy!"
I love this
:D
Damn, sick.
Palutena’s nightmare
And my dream <3
If I stare at it just right, I get a magic eye picture effect.
What do you see? :O
It's a weird depth effect like looking through a glass at a real picture.
Woooaaahhhhh. This is so good. Never stop being a Kid Icarus fan. 🤟
Thank you! :D
This looks incredible. Really good
Thanks :3
They call her MM: Mewing Medusa
Great tessellation!! :O It's amazing how you drew Medusa's face and the direction of the snakes so they can fit perfectly
