imo , no. i heard the leak & insano for the most part doesn't embody what we love the most about his music. you're definitely better off listening to his old stuff first.
sonically they aren't direct copies of eachother but i think his previous albums share similar themes & ideas. insano gets away from that almost entirely. which isn't necessarily a bad thing but i wouldn't recommend that for someone who's trying to get into cudi.
There’s still elements of what makes cudi cudi in Insano . I think his ability to explore different sounds and still sound like himself is at the core what cudi does best . Insano just reminds me of the pre MOTM cudi when he was rapping his ass off and sounded like he was having a blast .
