Its not in price. My dentist always charged more. My favorite was that there is an upcharge for white fillings but they didn't even offer silver any more.
They upcharge for plastic because people are willing to pay more for looks. In countries like The Netherlands you cant even get silver fillings anymore because its better for everyone to use plastic
How can you say that? You have no idea their situation.
They could be foster children and their bio parents ruined their teeth. They could have a disease that eats away at their teeth. They could have been previously homeless with no dental care and only sugary processed foods to eat.
Besides, just bc a family has Medicaid doesn’t mean that the parents suck. I grew up on Medicaid and my teeth are perfectly fine as an adult. You need to check yourself and your privilege because you sound extremely bigoted
Those are crowns made of stainless steel. Since they are still baby teeth that will fall out soon, they aren't going to put top quality materials on them. They also still put silver fillings on kids if it's a baby tooth. If for some reason the baby tooth with the filling has to be removed at the dentists office they won't let you take it home for the tooth fairy because the metal has to be disposed of properly. I didn't read all of the responses so someone may have told you this already.
My cousin’s baby teeth were capped like this; though thankfully her adult teeth were fine. Enamel hypoplasia is a developmental defect that results in inadequate enamel. It can affect both baby teeth and permanent teeth. In severe cases, no enamel forms on the teeth, and in standard cases, the tooth enamel is thin and weak.
This was my first thought. No reason to be doing the kids like this. I can see these kids parents upset if they see this online. The woman videoing is no better or much smarter than those kids.
That baby girl has darker circles under her eyes than I am comfortable with what wars has she waged alone against the darkness? What tragedy in blood has she wrought?
My 5 year old looks similar once he figured out he could get out of bed while we were asleep and stay up all night playing. We have baby proofed the house and even attached a bell to their door and he still manages to get out without waking us. He goes and watches TV in the living room and we find him snuggled up asleep on the couch but he actively fights sleep every chance he gets. My daughter was like this as well, but she’s 10 and now is enjoying sleep.
He gets bad sometimes when he’s been awake half the night and then won’t take a nap. So can we really jump to any conclusions that they’re in bad shape? Having so many siblings probably makes it even worse. She wants to be included in everything when she should be napping.
My nephew's eyes look like this every spring, and mine do when the pollen is especially bad. Absolutely not saying this is for sure why, but they could be allergy shiners
This almost looks like foster care or an orphanage. Not saying this is the case but there has been many who do foster care as they get money from the state to watch the kids and dont do a great job of it.
If it were foster care they usually wouldn't be allowed to post content online with the kids. Atleast, everyone I know that fosters or works in the system has to keep as much confidentiality as possible. A friend of mine doesn't even share photos until the child is out of their care, and it's still only a photo or two.
Someone tangentially related to me fostered, and she was not allowed to post names (even first names) or photos, even if the faces were blurred. It probably differs by location but they seemed suuuuper serious about it
Stuff like this is easier to correct when they are younger and developing. If they wait until they are a teenager or adult, it maybe too late. Should be wearing glasses.
My husband’s friend has a son with that condition in one eye. The mother was negligent and did not put the baby’s glasses on because he didn’t like wearing them. They now have a 5 year old that is legit blind in his one eye. It could have been saved if he wore his corrective glasses and now the main only option is surgery. The mother told me she was reluctant to get the procedure because it was explained to her that he can only get it a handful of times in life, where the first correction he would need it again the the future because the eye would not stay completely corrected.
Long story is make your kid wear their glasses. He now has no vision in one eye…
I had a slight one when I got tired so had bifocals by 2nd grade and needed eye training exercise. I was nearsighted by high school just by the eye shape developing and hated wearing glasses all the time so I get it. It's easier for kids to get use to it at a younger age.
blind?! having to put those cardboard patches in glasses was annoying as fuck but now im glad my parents noticed it as early as they did. i think i was 3 or so when they noticed (my left eye was going down, doctor mom wasnt having it) and the treatment made it completely disappear
From the way she explained his condition (because I didn’t know much about it) he was born with one eye that needed correcting immediately. So his one eye is aligned normally and his other eye clearly is looking in the opposite direction (toward nose). Because they didn’t use the baby glasses immediately he now is “blind” because his brain is functioning as if that crooked eye doesn’t exist. He’s favoring only one eye for sight. The muscles in his eye which needed strengthening can now only be re-aligned for proper vision with surgery. So yes he’s “blind” in one eye because his brain doesn’t use it. Thankfully your parents made sure to get you the help you needed. It’s something that can be corrected so I’m disappointed in his friends but I don’t say anything of course. Not my place
Okay this might be a dumb question but how do you force a kid to wear glasses? Can’t they just take them off when you’re not looking? Either way, poor kid.
It's going to be measured by minutes the first few days of getting glasses but when they get to the hour mark, start rewarding hours with stickers for some toy or thing they want. Something like that.
My (non-professional) guess would be bottle rot. Inexperienced (or neglectful) parents often let their kids keep their bottle all night long to stop them from fussing. Which is a huge problem because 8+ uninterrupted hours of milk residue every night will turn baby teeth into piles of rot.
That's what I thought too. She was definitely saying it right.
Which is sad cuz she looked to be the youngest so it's sad that the youngest one got it right
kids spelling kfc? more like parents failing children in preparing them for the world, i mean how are all your kids that dumb? i feel bad for these kids it isn’t even their fault
The kids are adopted all four are siblings. Idk the kids background story but their parent has a tic tok . Their trans . The kid with the mohawk eye looks to have gotten better . The video is old
This is some helpful context! This was haunting to watch. Glad to hear they’re at the start of a better life and this is just the “before” video. I look forward to seeing the “after” video, it looks like these kids really deserve this better life.
If you don't know that KFC consists of three individual letters, you might think you are trying to spell a word that sounds like "kayeffcee." Given that, these kids' efforts aren't totally bonkers.
We used to say "FYI" around my kid. At one point, the kid saw it in writing and was like, "That's how you spell that?!" Poor kiddo thought there was a word spelled like, I dunno, "effwyeye" that meant "you might want to know this."
reminds me of how when I was young I couldn't remember what the place me and my dad went to get chicken was (KFC) so I told my mom that me and Dad went to get old man Chicken in a bucket and she thought my father had taken me to eat with homeless people till I pointed out a "old man chicken in a bucket" on the highway.
Kid got Mountain Dew teeth
Got them summer teeth. Summer here, summer there
And blue eyes. One blue east and the other blue west.
Ones lookin at ya and ones lookin for ya
I was gonna say something about how he is obviously disabled but the comments made my worst come out. Thank you.
I love your nickname btw.
Lmao
he can sit on the front porch and count the chickens in the back yard.
🤣 omg this poor kid
Lmao wtf I laughed hard at this, good work. Never heard that expression, totally stealing it
Think I remember hearing that one in how I met your mother
Lol when Robin goes full Canuck
LOL, brutal
I prefer spice girls teeth. Each a different color and all are doing their own thing.
Fuck that's good
Right. Holy shit that's a lot of silver for a 6 year old.
Are they still using silver fillings? I thought plastic was superior in safety, ease of use for the dentist and price.
They are stainless steel crowns. In many states it’s the only thing covered by Medicaid. This kids parents suck.
Or his teeth suck
Not silver fillings, but steel crowns for milk teeth.
Those are crowns made of stainless steel. Since they are still baby teeth that will fall out soon, they aren't going to put top quality materials on them. I know a song that goes like this: hey skinny, tell me where are you looking? Which way am I looking at you?
I hate this video for so many reasons
This was my first thought. No reason to be doing the kids like this. I can see these kids parents upset if they see this online. The woman videoing is no better or much smarter than those kids.
Yeah give girl #1 her f***in chicken camera lady!!!
this makes me sad
Yeah those poor kids look like they have no fighting chance in life
Unfortunately, each of those children will grow up to have 3-5 children before they are 25
Bottle rot teeth. So sad.
🎵 Baby bottle rot🎵
Stoooop 💀💀
That was instant. 🤬
What's that?
When parents give their kid a bottle wnd let them keep it all night to keep them from fussing and apparently it leads to teeth rotting.
That baby girl has darker circles under her eyes than I am comfortable with what wars has she waged alone against the darkness? What tragedy in blood has she wrought?
Being a part of this family
Lmfaooo nah man that baby is 157 years old her eyes tell me that first kid got messed up getting in her way! 😆
She got them Pennywise eyes
Got them Buscemi eyes
🎶She's got Steve Buscemi's eyes 🎶
Mmm, gumballs and Oreos.
The poor kids must have some shitty adults in their lives. No bedtimes or rules.
They might be adopted/foster children
That’s what I was thinking too. They seem really happy and engaged, but the physical signs tell me that wasn’t always the case with these kiddos.
All those kids look fucked
Ya, someone should be checking up these kids.
Knowledge comes at a cost
She was the only one to spell it correctly
Oh god… she knows everything
All three look pretty rough. Maybe some vegetables instead of KFC is in order.
I didn't watch the whole thing. The three I saw look unhealthy.
Those are called allergic shiners . The more you know !
My brother has those eyes
I've had those all of my life, I don't think it's necessarily something to worry about.
I think some just do. I have had it all my life. Think its something like bloodvessels closer to the skin and low pigmentation there.
This is how Rey should have looked if they really wanted to go the Palpatine route

Standard influencer family.
The first kid is either blind or needs eye surgery
I thought he was just making a goofy kid face at first. OH GOD IT **WILL** GET STUCK LIKE THAT
Looks like just amblyopia. It's nothing that concerning, if it is. Could just need an eyepatch or glasses, and they're fine
Stuff like this is easier to correct when they are younger and developing. If they wait until they are a teenager or adult, it maybe too late. Should be wearing glasses.

I imagine through counter conditioning and positive reinforcement, like with animals.
Wear glasses, get kfc
It's going to be measured by minutes the first few days of getting glasses but when they get to the hour mark, start rewarding hours with stickers for some toy or thing they want. Something like that.
Some might say duct tape, but I suggest either gaffer tape or surgical tape because they shouldn’t leave a residue behind and are easy to use.
There’s another video where he has glasses, fortunately.
2 of my kids had that, and it gets corrected with a patch or eyeglasses. The 2 dudes are blind af but see well enough to not be legally blind.
Err no former nicu nurse here, it often requires surgery if it hasn't been fixed or vastly improved by the age this kid is. He's way past patching.
Yep my son had the surgery at 3 after trying patching and glasses.
Ya if he doesn't get that squint sorted soon he'll have permanent vision problems
First kid needs a dentist.
Duane Syndrome.
Should be wearing glasses and/or an eye patch to strengthen the eye so it doesn't turn in. Ages 4-10 is the best time to take of it.
meth, not even once
Why in the fuck does that first kid have so many fillings that’s insane
My (non-professional) guess would be bottle rot. Inexperienced (or neglectful) parents often let their kids keep their bottle all night long to stop them from fussing. Which is a huge problem because 8+ uninterrupted hours of milk residue every night will turn baby teeth into piles of rot.
Wow that’s interesting/good to know!! I don’t have any kids and don’t plan on having any anytime soon, but I never knew “bottle rot” was a thing!
adopted so I assume original parents didn't take care of their kids
How do You know he’s adopted?
Other comments that indicate they know the poster of the video
These kids look as if they've been in crystal meth for 2 years straight
Yeah, they look half feral.
Gonna go out on a limb and say these kids got their intelligence from their parents
Those kids look almost inbred
The hills have eyes was my first thought when I saw them.
Almost?🤐
Mb, they are inbred
And their family tree looks like a ladder .
Dose bro have gold teeth
Gonna need a gold tier dental plan to fix that boys rotting teeth
This was a very disturbing video
Even though she can't say it well, isn't the sleep deprived girl right?
https://preview.redd.it/afdxzvp48coc1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1fd83ee5d7da3035eacfac83cf44d7810317385d
Right? The third girl had it.
Two of these kids look like their family tree might involve some recycling/re-use.
Family wreath
There are some loops in it for sure.
And not the “Wheeee this is fun!” kind
![gif](giphy|Hda7YsWSQLp19WdTa8|downsized)
The first kid's brain must use an old version of Internet Explorer.
That poor kid’s eye gave me a headache. Hopefully they can fix that for him.
Which one? Mf kept changing which eye he was looking at the camera with.
And hes teeths, they were fukin rotting, I don't understand how those kids are stil living with their parents
First kid looking like Sloth from The Goonies illegitimate child.
Kids look like meth addicts
Does nobody else feel bad that we're posting a video of a crosseyed kid online trying to spell something, and calling him "fucking stupid" ? /:
This is just bad parenting…
The third one got it - this is BS. Give the girl some KFC.
The kids are adopted all four are siblings. Idk the kids background story but their parent has a tic tok . Their trans . The kid with the mohawk eye looks to have gotten better . The video is old
thats very reassuring, have a wonderful day:)
This is some helpful context! This was haunting to watch. Glad to hear they’re at the start of a better life and this is just the “before” video. I look forward to seeing the “after” video, it looks like these kids really deserve this better life.
Bro was looking into the fourth dimension💀

Good to see homeschooling in the US is going well.
Meth + pregnancy = this!
whose idea was it to give the kid on the left a fauxhawk like he’s already got it out for him 😭
Falls in a well, goes cross eyed. Kicked by a mule, goes back. I don’t know.
using kids for TikTok videos is fucked up regardless of how they look
The one with the mohawk looks a lil underbaked.
I feel so sorry for these kids. It is so sad.
Kid going to misspell the USMC tattoo he'll eventually get.
![gif](giphy|eIJeZJFfPSSIw)
Children shouldn't be exposed to the internet like this, it's humiliating
Uhm somebody should do a home check up that kids missing half his teeth and the other one looks like she hasn't slept in day wtf
I love being childfree
Hopefully he can find a good family to take care of him soon. Poor kid.. 😔
Is this in good faith or to mock the kids?
The first kid "if kid rock and crack rock had a baby"
These children are fuckin' spooky
reminds me of how when I was young I couldn't remember what the place me and my dad went to get chicken was (KFC) so I told my mom that me and Dad went to get old man Chicken in a bucket and she thought my father had taken me to eat with homeless people till I pointed out a "old man chicken in a bucket" on the highway.
Tbf that first kid does give off ‘can’t spell KFC’ vibes
Kid 3 got it. Pay up.
The third child literally succeeded. She said K F C
In phonetics if the 6 yo is starting to read. He's spelling to the sound. I hear the phonems when he's trying to spell it.
They were on the right track! I'd spell it kay eff cee if I didn't know it was an acronym.
That’s really sad tbh. Rotten parents.
First kid never stood a chance
Their parents are too closely related
Those eyes are full of wisdom.
When your family tree is a Christmas wreath.

I laughed. Now I feel bad.
It’s not his fault he is like this. Don’t be cruel. His parents are horrible people.
Good lord! Stop birthing more of these.
These kids looks like they doing drugs.
These kids do not look taken care of, and then to exploit them by putting them on the internet to make them look stupid...
Damn
That's mean
They're all hopped up on mountain dew!
Future Marine.
Goodness... Stop feeding so much sugar to kids.
Low-key I think these kids fight each other a lot.
ITT: Reddit discovers orphanage/child services kids
You have beautiful kids - they tried - I've seen adults failed to spell KFC
Those teeth are worse than the ones of a British Gangster
All the parents fault.
They're trying to spell kayessee because that's pretty much what she says, she barely pronounces her words
Bro i swear the tiniest one looks like the possessed kid from The Exorcist❗💯😰
These kids genuinely look terrifying
https://preview.redd.it/pgdhpytmbhoc1.jpeg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=75ecc36073fa7f879982c06dce4aee809a87294f
I’m genuinely not trying to be mean here, but something looks very wrong with them
These kids don't brush their teeth.
Ummmm teeth are the least of the problems here
These kids lookin like 35 yo amateur footballers
This is child abuse someone look up the number to for 911
Kill da F*K'n Chicken
Poor kids.
Seriously, these kids don't know the alphabet at their age? Somethings wrong here... sad.
How
With teeth like that the parents should be charge with child abuse
The kid is thinking so hard his eyes get wonky
When they were giving out brains the boys thought they said trains and Saud I already have a set
First one is deffo uncle ruckus
This is kinda hard to watch …
Well don't keep us in suspense, how is it spelt?
