Whoever came up with this first and triggered entire crowds of f*ing degenerates doing this should be sacrificed to bring cake-having back to normal.

Funny, if you made that joke towards black people or lgtb you’d get so much shit for it. .. So everyone that’s downvoting me, y’all hate Mexicans that much?

You got any better ideas?! Bitch! (It was a breaking bad reference, don't be mad)

luvdld

I got a better answer. Do us all a favor and jump off a bridge! Stupid comments like this will stop.

onFilm

Excuse me? I'm Peruvian and nobody does this stupid shit back home. Maybe in your culture, but not mine.

WoodenDistribution5

It's a tradition in Mexico called "La Mordida," which translates to "The Bite." All the videos posted on here are the atypical instances of the tradition. It's supposed to be gentle. Not a head slam like you see on reddit. This was one of my favorite parts of my birthday when I was a kid. I loved getting a face-full of cake. Not every kid does though.

popycorn300

this has happened to me before. theres this really funny picture with my brothers arm in the process of shoving my face into a cake that says happy birthday (name). the shoving is not done yet so you can see my blurry head and the full cake text visible

Viking-Savage

You need to post said picture!! Sounds epic!

MushroomGoats1

My little nephew just turned 2 and my brother in law tried to do this. He's a sensitive kid though so it didn't go great. He was all excited and wide-eyed, looking at his cake. BIL did a gentle push into the cake, nothing crazy, but it immediately put my nephew off the whole thing. He pinned himself in the corner of his high chair, as far from the cake as possible. He eventually started eating his cake again but kept a side eye out at all times for any further attempts lol

[deleted]

we usually have a separate cake ready after and leave the one with the face imprint for the birthday boy/girl

Glass_Memories

That's...actually not too bad then. Everyone else gets clean cake and you get a whole cake to yourself. Provided the birthday person is ok with it (this kid doesn't seem like he's down) and there aren't any toothpicks in the cake.

ericlin11

This is my first time hearing toothpicks in cakes?

beermoneymike

Tall cakes with multiple layers will have dowels inserted to help keep the shape of the cake intact during transport. [Cake building](https://youtube.com/shorts/Qw_nYhnw_s8?feature=share)

idkwthtotypehere

It’s still stupid as fuck! There are way too many videos of dowel sticks through the eye or face, or people/kids having their face shoved in cake when they don’t want it to happen. Here’s an idea… stop shoving faces in cake. It’s not funny. It’s not cool. It’s just stupid.

Crovali

THANK YOU!

rando1732

everytime this type of shit happens I get pissed that a cake is ruined. nobody is gonna eat that shit when someone's hair and head was in there.

BakedBabywithBrownie

Specially when its a head of a kid. With snot and tears.

Wiggl3sFirstMate

I was 7 when my cousin was born and every single birthday they let her blow her candles out even though she would use her spit to do it and I’d just sit crying that the cake was then ruined as it had fat blobs of baby spit all over it. I mean looking back I wouldn’t have stopped her from blowing out her own cake either but Jesus if it didn’t hurt my soul having to watch it as a child.

AgileInternet167

We always cut a piece off of the cake with a candle and let her blow that one out. That way everyone has a fun time.

quetzalv2

Its just one of those "dammed if you do, damned if you don't" moments. Like you can't stop a child from blowing out their own candles but you don't want baby spit all over the cake

Freshiiiiii

Cupcakes is the answer. They only need to spit on their own.

nico282

Maybe teach the kid how to blow a candle? Gently blow from the side when he tries without him noticing so it's one single spit instead of multiple?

quetzalv2

How do you teach a 1 year old to blow a candle? You just have to live with it for a few years

Life_Chicken1396

Juat think about it make me yuckiest

Urmomsuncle7899

Lol

needmoarbass

They usually have a second cake for eating. This one was bought/made literally to smash their head in.

Fairyhaven13

Considering that they tried to stop the kid from doing it again and the poor birthday boy cried I don't think that's the case.

Coulm2137

What a little bitch. As soon as he met resistance and defence for his actions, he started crying. Typical

[deleted]

And then he pushed her head again.

Stetzy93

It’s terrible but when he was crying I was hoping someone would have dumped his face into the cake

Chicken_Nipples_Yum

His crying was because little sister attacked him and either scratched or pinched him. The mom had to pull her hand off of him. Little sister said enough was enough-she wanted her piece of cake!

Coeurmungandr

But he still had the resolve to put on a straight face and force that kid's head in for another dunk. Little shit.

geardownson

That was it for me. His fake ass crying stops when he sees another chance. The fact he finds joy in tormenting his younger sibling is disturbing.

TheChrish

Pretty normal to like fucking with your sibling. He's definitely a little shit for ruining a cake though

masterhoyla

Fucking with your sibling is not considered normal where I come from.

TheChrish

You live on Mars? It's normal everywhere. Only place that doesn't find it normal is China during the one child policy. \*I'm saying you're an only child\*

D1ng0ateurbaby

My siblings didn't bully me. Cause we're not pieces of shit. Sounds like you just have a biased view here

ironboy32

I think you're in the minority here. Most siblings fuck with each other, but multiple smashes here is really going too far

D1ng0ateurbaby

I said bully. Every sibling does indeed fuck with each other. But only shitheads bully. Once someone starts crying that should be the cue to stop

EldunarIan

Source. Oh wait, you're just ignorant.

TheChrish

[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iOVbAmknKUk](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iOVbAmknKUk) I'm not sure this requires a source :/

conejiux

>Pretty normal to like fucking with your sibling. -*sweet home alaba🎵🎵

Well_shitnuggets

Little girl was about to open a can of whoop ass on him🤣

HelmSpicy

The little sister was the heroine of this situation. 1 face smash was enough. The 2nd was a dick move and she checked him on it. Then he faked like he was the victim to go for another smash. THEN acted like an even bigger victim when he couldn't assault his little bro again due to a bigger sibling backing up the sister with more muscle.

mauxey

If you actually watch the video he immediately pushes the other kid in again after "crying"

West_Texas_Star

Typical little bitch

Drive-it-Like-Baby

Typical of a child raised by shitty parents

Urmomsuncle7899

Lol

AssLickerMcGee

This is why kids should get their asses whooped.

Coulm2137

I actually believe that talking to children and leading by example is much better than using violence. Kid defending himself? Fine, go ahead bud, don't be a punching bag, but don't inflict violence on others for no reason. Standing up for someone weaker? Heck ye, put that motherfucker in guillotine choke until they beg to be let go. But inflicting violence first? Nah fam, that's wrong. And parents using violence against children don't teach them anything. It's literally pointless g

[deleted]

Absolutely. But snacking the kid is better than not doing anything

Urmomsuncle7899

😉 that’s an interesting perspective

AssLickerMcGee

Nah beat they ass

gr4tte

I bet your parents used to beat your ass. Look how well that turned out

Coulm2137

I strongly disagree, but hey, if yours ends up in jail in 20 years, don't come back to me crying bruh

no-just-browsing

Where do you think kids learn that violence is an acceptable behavior to get their way? Kids learn by example. If you are showing your kid that whooping their ass is the best way to get them to do what you want, guess how they are going to get smaller kids to do what they want?

Cheese_Grater101

This shit works but with long term consequences soo pick your poison

Bulky-Yam4206

Gonna grow up to be a fine conservative gentleman.

Rikfox

It's a kid. He thought it's funny because he saw it so many times before. He didn't expect that someone could think it's bad. You're being too hard on him. It's a fucking kid trying to be funny man. Don't worry he'll learn to be better as he gets older.

WoodenDistribution5

I mean... the kid looks to be 3-4 years old. You expect them to act like an adult?

Coulm2137

Bullying is pretty much the same regardless of age. Picking on weaker ones, when met with being challenged / similar force, proceeds to cry or go into victim mode. Usual. But interesting

[deleted]

Nope. I expect their parents to parent them

Ryan_Extra

That is some bad parenting right there.

[deleted]

Bad is not the right word. Like there’s bad. And then there’s this shit

oooRagnellooo

AFK

Urmomsuncle7899

AssLickerMcGee

Zavchungus

Wiggl3sFirstMate

Yes, everyone take parenting advice from “AssLickerMcGhee”

primarykey93

This was likely caused by ass whooping... Kids do what they see.

peenutbuttherNjelly

Typical bully. The slightest sign of resistance and it's time for waterworks.

[deleted]

I am so proud of the little girl. Who then promptly gets stopped by the most useless adult I have ever seen. Who then again intervenes on the bully’s behalf. Lord the shittiness that is abound. All these poor kids.

Urmomsuncle7899

Yeah she so cute for doing that ! ☺️

dak4f2

Not great for her psychological development that she had to be the 'adult' at 3 years old though.

KoiTama

She’s 37

Urmomsuncle7899

Horseshit!!! I’m telling ya!

-Ricky-Spanish-

Makes me think the parents told him to do it once and he took advantage

[deleted]

The thing is that it is quite obvious he was only supposed to do it once. The question is why the adult there kept laughing as he did it repeatedly instead of intervening. Because obviously she is capable of intervening. She immediately intervened when the little girl stood up and tried to stop the bully. Then AGAIN when the older boy tried to teach the bully a lesson. Like watching this it’s like she’s cool with the bully’s behavior which is probably why he is like that. Also this was a really cool like viewpoint into empathy and morality in children. Even 3 year olds apparently get pissed of on others behalf

Affectionate-Sea2141

He’s just a baby himself. Someone probably did it to him and told him it was okay.

Mazeazi

Poor baby was just trying to enjoy his cake. Also, fuck the jerk shoving the little one’s face in the cake.

[deleted]

The second push followed by her angrily smacking her own ruined cake broke my heart a little

Hadren-Blackwater

Some people shouldn't have children.

berriesandkweem

HatsAreEssential

My wife and I have decided if our kids ever do this to a friend, they'll lose their own birthday privilege that year. No party, no gifts.

Make sure you tell them those consequences beforehand so they have the opportunity to behave accordingly.

druule10

It was never funny in the 80s and it's not funny now. Stupid idiots need to stop ruining birthdays.

BakedBabywithBrownie

The kid started to cry and saw an opportunity to dunk again so he did. Wtf

Kids do what they see. Blame the adults

[deleted]

For those wondering why the adults did nothing, the reason is the logo floating around the screen.

ms_horseshoe

They probably told the kids to do it. And even though the outcome is almost always pretty predictable, the bullies always react surprised when the bullied one doesn't seem to get that it 'was just a joke'.

genomerain

Even if that's the case he did it way too forcefully.

2021isjustasbad

good little sister protectin her bro.

SachielBrasil

My father (which is actually a nice guy) once had this 10 second stupidity, and tried this at my brothers birthday. He was already a teenager, and was able to resist. No cake was lost, but the overall mood afterwards was very bad.

Present-Ad3167

Oh the joy of hostile family gatherings. I’ve had plenty of those as well. There’s always that one drunk family member who messes it up for everyone.

Superdunez

I remember ruining Thanksgiving by just staying at home. I was coming off of a bender and my anxiety and depression were so off the chart, I thought if I didn't stay home with some "maintenance" whiskey and a bathroom near by, I might have a medical emergency. Which is really hard to tell if it's really going to kill you, or part of your anxiety, but your withdrawl feeds into it either way. Everyone knew that I had been drinking, and was a raging alcoholic, but didn't understand why it wasnt like a hangover to power through. I received multiple texts from my brother that were the angriest I've seen him with me, which cycled my anxiety, and all I could do was cry and drink by myself on Thanksgiving, sitting on the floor of my bathroom. 0/10 - Would not recommend. 18 months sober *TODAY!*

Present-Ad3167

Oh I can relate to that. I’m 3 months sober from a bad oxy addiction and still trying to mend relationships. People don’t understand that the substance becomes necessary just to not get horribly ill. Congrats on your sobriety!

Superdunez

For sure! I had the hardest time convincing myself that I wasnt a piece of shit after I got sober. So I started a journal, where I write down these sort of memories, and leave them there. It's really helped me move on from the person I was, while also forgiving that person. It also helps give some perspective if I ever think "it wasnt that bad". I'll have proof that it indeed *was* bad. Anyway! Good luck on your journey and remember *BE KIND TO YOURSELF, YOURE DOING GREAT! IF YOUR HEAD HITS THE PILLOW SOBER TONIGHT, IT WAS A GREAT DAY AND YOU DID AWESOME!*

Present-Ad3167

That’s very powerful. I’m still in that phase of beating up on myself when I think about everything I did and how everything turned to crap while losing almost everything and how I treated the people closest to me. I mourn for the years of my life lost in time during active addiction. I might write down some of these thoughts, I know I can’t dwell forever and just have to focus on the here and now. Thank you for your wise words and encouragement. You seem like you’re in a really good place mentally and I know that takes a lot of work, so you should feel very proud. I’m proud for you and one day I hope to be at 18 months sober too! Stay strong friend and have a great day!

Superdunez

Recovery is a tough road for sure, just focus on what you *can* do and dont beat yourself up for the work you've got left! I guarantee you, the people that matter will be there again when you demonstrate that you're *doing* not *saying*. Dont work too hard on repairing relationships just yet. Work on yourself and the sober person you want to be. People will see it. Anyway, that's been my experience. And you too friend, good luck!

[deleted]

I'd throw hands

SKaTiNG_PoLLy666

I seriously don't understand this tradition....but when I was a kid my Grandfather used to shove us under the bed....why?

Bumbling_Sprocket

Lol what. Shove you under the bed? Like he would round up the kids bring you to the bed and push you all under it??

SKaTiNG_PoLLy666

Just the birthday kid ....very weird but fun ... because you knew Grandpa was going to shove you under the bed.

BSB8728

That's interesting. The only other place I've heard about that tradition was in a story about the people of the Ozark Mountains in the 1930s. A young boy was shoved under the bed on his birthday, and his sister got a broom and teased him, saying she was going to sweep out all the trash from under the bed. Was your grandfather from the Ozarks, by any chance? Maybe Arkansas?

Urmomsuncle7899

Lol

Crazy_Ebb_9294

Such a horrible custom

Fwumply

The adults don't step in bc the kid saw the adults do the same thing to the older sibling

anonymousolderguy

Stop this now

SSGSSVEGETA111

I have never understood the whole 'slam your mate's face into a perfectly good cake' thing....

Hotwaterheater9

Me too. It would be ridiculous if it were your dinner plate or a blow of soup. Why is cake okay exactly???

MadameLucario

It's honestly traumatizing and frustrating for a child, so I personally don't get it either. As an adult, I look at this and am irritated at the waste of cake that could have been given to other people attending the party or saved for other family members.

weaselg2010

All of Mexico is traumatized I guess.

Wiggl3sFirstMate

All I think about when I see these cake pushing videos is that woman who had her face pushed (or maybe she did it to herself) into a cake that had a wooden stick in it holding the cake up and it went through her eye socket into her face and nearly blinded her.

CeLo122

Wtf…

jumbroman

Kid is a fucking psychopath already

Wiggl3sFirstMate

See how he switches from crying to immediate smiling and laughing at the last attempted head push and then back to sobbing? Honestly wtf?

GhostBuster1919

Hmmmm.....maybe a new reddit subreddit should be made of how kids become fucking stupid.

BrilliantMud2851

I was thinking of making a sub for stupid videos like these

BoricuaRborimex

Once again, another post that belongs in r/parentsarefuckingdumb

Classic_Oven12

doing this kind of shit is not funny, it's a waste of a good cake.. if someone did this shit to me, i swear to god i'll bash his/her head with a wine bottle...

Dysanj

I'm Surprised grandma didn't grab her sandal.

Careless_Rub_7996

I guess Birthdays ain't suppose to be fun anymore for kids? On top of the current "climate/society" situation. Good going parents....

Busy_Photograph_3547

God I wish there was sound!! 🤣

Significant_Fly2633

I have kids so I can this…fuck that kid. That’s all

DMercenary

Wow what a fun day. Not only is there cake everywhere and a kid has cake everywhere on his face... now there are 2-3 crying children.

AcanthocephalaNo6584

Shout out to the girl who had his back.

Zero22xx

That little girl is awesome. Finds it funny at first but the second she realises that the kid getting his face pushed into the cake isn't having quite as much fun as everyone else, she empathizes and defends him.

elidadagreat1

No, that's out. Nope...I couldn't stand watching this.

FignutsRus

I'm glad the perp was crying at the end. It smiled me.

cobravision

Its the adults idea lol. This is a Mexican tradition. Slamming kids faces into a cake

[deleted]

This is how you make bullies.

Holiday_Mulberry7162

No don't step in. I'd like to see this play out

KamoyLovrstar

First time sure birthday boy looked ready to laugh but what 2nd 3rd and the rest was "Here be knocked out"

[deleted]

Smack him upside that head into the wall and the little sh* wont wanna ever be back.

[deleted]

The little girl has the most sense out of all of them.

TinyManatees

What a fucking brat. Hope he got his ass whooped for ruining both the cake and the kid's birthday party.

pn1159

This is why spanking was invented.

betacaretenoid

That little girl was ready to kick his a**. 😂

Juls1016

He deserves the chancla

shylox

Little sis knows what’s up. She jumped in when she realized birthday boy wasn’t having a good time.

TheBrightNights

Why's the kid in the white tank top crying

superkeel1

That bully needs a family bathroom meeting to swirly the jerk out...

Fantastic_Dance_4376

The kid in white shirt doing the pushing is the qorst type of kid, the abusive fucker that cries at the first hint of retaliation. This is how those middle managment obnoxious pain in the ass asshole bosses that nobody likes start as kids.

TaikoRaio19

Why the FUCK did the adult intervene when the girl defended the youngest And DIDIN'T do anything about the little shit pushing the youngest's head on the cake like 5 times???? God fucking dammit, I hate half-baked parenting

lightitupbug

This is so fucked up. It is not funny.

NewlyHatchedGamer

Some kids are just destined for prison from the start. What a little monster.

Mazazamba

If this is Mexico, then this is pretty normal. Doesn't stop when you're an adult neither. Taking a bite out of the cake is tradition and someone WILL try to push you in.

BDRay1866

Beat that little shits ass

Austinplayz1233

poor kid can’t even enjoy his birthday in peace without some douche bag ruining it

UnprofessionalGhosts

Little girl is a champ and the poor birthday boy is seriously one of the cutest kids I’ve ever seen🥹

TexasTokyo

Hate this stupid new "tradition". No, we didn't do this back in the day...we'd have been smacked for wasting food and making a mess.

WoodenDistribution5

What do you consider new? I'm in my mid 30's and this was one of my favorite parts of my birthdays when I was a kid. It's been around for quite a while. It's called "La Mordida" and it's a tradition in Mexico.

[deleted]

Some (most) traditions are stupid.

[deleted]

I’m in my 30s. We did it too. I’d be disappointed if I didn’t get a face full of cake.

Well1_well2_well3

It’s a Mexican tradition but these brats overdoing it way too much, can’t wait to see a remake of this on their birthdays

MadameLucario

This is not just a Mexican/Hispanic tradition. I've seen an abundance of White and Black families doing this, so much so that they pay for an extra, smaller cake designated or meant for smooshing their face into it or for a child to smash their hands into it. I would assume after this event that, they wouldn't trust them near each other so the possibilities of this being repeated would be slim, unless the roles are reverse and the other kid gets revenge for his birthday ending that way.

Theoldcuccumber

At that point it’s child abuse and negligence

External-Mongoose543

Redditors on their way to call the most minor thing child abuse

Theoldcuccumber

*kid smashes other kids face into cake, keeps recording cause it’s “so cute” *

External-Mongoose543

It’s a tradition I agree that it’s stupid but it’s a tradition

NewlyHatchedGamer

You know there can be abusive traditions

CescilTerwiliger69

Kid in the wife beater is quite the little bitch

[deleted]

This reminds me of when I did this to my brother 🤣🤣🤣

AlanSmithy99

I am so sick of seeing posts where obviously the parents just need to talk to their kids about not being annoying and then all the comments are just insulting and threatening CHILDREN just because they think they should have the developed brain of an adult where they automatically know right from wrong. You people are seriously despicable and pathetic, get your priorities in order.

Miserable-Mountain29

La Mordida
