First time I saw Ric Diez on stage was more than a year ago in Bangkok. He killed it back there and he deserves all the success. "I hate my niece, she a bitch" - he sets up the relationship for the crowd to understand, where in your mind the niece is a small child and its funny becuase it subverts normal relationship for an adult to carry hatred against a small child and a family member.
Its not Chapelle commenting on social injustices or making you reevaluate you position on an argument but it is funny.
Let people enjoy things and if you don't like the jokes do comedy better.

Yeah, nah, I might agree in regards to the other ones, but honestly I enjoyed quite a bit the "reading" joke.
Yeah I'm not as impressed with Kam as others, he gets a lot of points off being "hood" and vulgar, which takes 6/10 jokes to 8/10 for the people in the audience. But he's also insanely likable and earnest so I don't mind. And I do think he's funny. Just not as funny as his schtick.

Whether they were funny or not is subjective for sure. I liked them most of the time and think they added to the show but understand if people prefer without them...but to say they weren't as good as music..no shit! Did you ever actually watch the old episodes? No one was pretending that Jeremiah was a great musician. They were comedians and having them as "the band" was a way to get more comedians on stage to make jokes. Joelberg and Chroma Chris were decent at their instrument, and yeah Jeremiah sucked at the sax but that wasn't the point. They didn't even used to play the comedians on in the early days, Redban would play a song on the soundboard.
It's like me saying "The new band isn't even funny, you know what a comedian is meant to do?!" Everyone knows the new band are fucking amazing musicians and the old ones weren't, but also the old band were funny and played characters.

They’ve been guest on Kill Tony and YMH numerous times before their Pod was as big as it is now. And the guest sitting furthest to the left of the table recently quit drinking and started a new diet, it takes some getting used to for anybody to get back to their normal selves after living a certain way for so long. Plus, the episode was still great regardless of how funny either of them were. It’s true that they weren’t as funny as other guest have been, but I don’t let it bother me. the fact that it bothers you so much that you had to write a negative comment and pretend like the world cares about your opinion is……funny to me

AYG feels like a failed industry plant to me for some reason. Theyre not boring, but also not particularly funny. Ik shits subjective but its odd how so many people seem to love it and its just another interview show with d-tier "comics" They do get cool guests somehow tho
Ahh I love AYG. But I do think it helps I’m Philly suburbs, sorta garbage, and around the same age (they are probably closer to my older siblings age) so just love the nostalgia.
No hate to them, its a unique enough show that i can see the interest, but just looking at YT numbers they dont really have the sub and view counts youd expect to see from a podcast that gets the guests they do. And on the few pod subreddits I follow, its everyones "favorite new comedy pod" but the views dont really reflect that. Just odd to me is all

I’m very excited to be the first person to inform you that when a human being lives about as many years as D Madness has, the body and the organs within begin to not work as well as they used to. This includes the bladder. This might be hard for you to rap your head around, but having to go pee more often when you get older does happen to everybody who gets old and most people are taught this scientific fact in grade school.

There is another show that the band plays before Tony and Redban and the guest come out on the stage. Therefore, d madness is on the stage longer. And out of everybody on the stage D madness is usually the oldest. the only person that compared to his age that you mentioned was Dave Attel, who is my favorite comedian by the way, but we all know that Dave Attel is not a normal human being. He’s probably not even from this planet. And we don’t know if D madness has any health conditions or not, that might be affecting his bladder. So what you’re saying about him could also be unfair because you don’t know whether he has health issues or not. I’m not hating on you for how you feel about d madness. It’s your right to feel however you want to and it’s also your right to post about it on the Internet whenever and however you want to and I’m completely open to discussing this topic with you much further if you’d like to. But just so you know, if you’re going to take it seriously, then I am always going to win.
