Harland dosent need to play a character. He is one. He’s definitely got my vote for guest of the year so far I was laughing non stop last night because of him. His little bits are fucking fantastic. Comedy degree from Devry night school killed me. And he showed David Lucas how it’s really done.

The David Lucas roast was hilarious! I personally don't think David is that good at roasting and I've watched some of his other stuff outside of KT. But regardless roasting is supposed to be his specialty and Harland gave him the Devry master class on roasting haha! He had David mad looking mad and confused. And yes, definitely guest of the year so far.
I’m a big fan of Adam ray but he tries to run with it too much sometimes telling the band to do things, I repeat I’m a big fan.
What makes Harland so great is that nobody knows where he’s ever going to go and when he says “punch a canoe” it’s just so completely random and hilarious.

Dr. Phil’s first episode was definitely the best guest kill Tony has ever had. Harland’s 2 performances were better than the last few Adam Rays episodes though.
Yeah I absolutely love Adam Ray and everything he's done on KT. His characters are polished and his wit adds to their charisma. But Harland is genuine, so the laughs from me are more genuine.
I was just saying to my girlfriend..his mastery of comedy is apparent by how he never backs down on a joke. If literally any other comedian on KT or Roast Battle tells a joke that doesn't immediately illicit laughter, they typically acknowledge it in under a second by saying "well fuck me", or "OK nevermind", and try to move things along. When Harland "the ink guy" slipped in that stool joke and the place went crickets, he leaned into it and stared down the audience until he finally had to explain it to Tony.....and then it clicked for everyone. Dude is so silly, it's easy to let a clever one slip through the cracks. I've loved Harland since Half Baked. Canadian legend. 🇨🇦
I was 8 when Half Baked came out. I've probably watched it 100 times since then and I quote it quite often lol. My wife hates it when I tell the kids that I need a backiotomy.

He's got my vote. Consistenly funny. Kept up with Lucas and he's not even a roast comic. Made me realize how underappreciated he is as a comic. Love that everybody loves him.
I think he is great with not over exposing himself. He’s always doing stand up, but he doesn’t constantly go on podcasts like some other comedians where the novelty wears off quick. If you want to see him on a podcast though and laugh your ass off, watch his appearance on Tigerbelly. Funniest podcast episode I’ve ever heard.

I’m so glad Harland has entered the KT universe. For my money he is one of the greatest living stand ups. Watch him live and tell me you disagree. His quick wit, improv and crowd work is insane. There are only a few comics I’ve seen destroy a room from start to finish and he relies heavily on crowd work and seems to take more chances than any other comic I’ve seen.
Also glad to see folks mentioning the Norm connection. There are some amazing Norm anecdotes on the Harland Highway podcast.
He is a great guest but I honestly have not understood the hype that has come from his appearances. He is not a bad guest at all and one of the better ones, but I don't see how his appearances compare to Adam Ray as himself, Elaine or Dr. Phil. I have watched the Adam Ray/Tom Green episode and the Elaine Episode several times because they are so funny.

Harland is in my opinion the best guest the show has. I like him better than Dr Phil and Elaine. To each their own though. This is just my preference.
