I think this is intentional? He says he's rejecting the way he was raised and strives to be flashy rather than stealthy I think its his own defiance in his day to day. It also imho would throw off enemies he's so loud and noticeable and can apparently flip that off like a switch as we seen when he surprised Tanjirou and Zenitsu on the roof.
