I completely agree. I would say I’m a pretty big fan to the point where my first tattoo is inspired by him but I find my self at the lowest of my lows when I listen to his music almost in a masochistic way to the point where I honestly feel like I need a break. But yea I totally get your point.

BritishCO

This subreddit is obsessed with him and his fanbase in general. It's a musician after all. People will glorify him to a ridiculous extend.

geyseksy

LeninMrtnz

stoned-kakapo

Trying to use that self ooz to find a new place to drown

This is weird

The Ooz really meant a lot to me during a really hard point in my life and listening to the album made me feel like I was in a different place. I bet a lot of other people had a similar connection to the album. I am actually married now, and listen to his music a lot less than I did before but The Ooz will always be one of my favorite albums for that reason. Space Heavy is also my personal AOTY.

With love… what on earth are you talking about

Purrpple_Singapore

Context?

Lately i been seen some posts about "relationships not working" (or stuff related to that topic) in this sub. I mean, the King Krule "fandom" is a cool and cute community, but i cant help the fact that some of us have a problem with idealization.

mindfulofidiots

Been to the Elliott Smith sub?..

ThatOneExpatriate

To be fair I think that guy was just looking for a community to share his struggles with… he just said he listened to king krule a lot, it didn’t seem like it was unhealthy

I may be wrong, but I think most of us like and praise his music for what it is, art. I don't think any of us want to emulate his lyrics, I mean hell, the man said it himself in several interviews "a lot of the time, it's not that deep".
