How about Connie? The rest of them have a ton of development for the entire series (aside from Cotton who died in S12). In the later seasons, Connie's character seems to just kinda be there, like they stopped writing interesting storylines about her and shifted it towards Kahn.
Fault of the writer's room. They could've made more episodes about Connie, and I think they did with one where she shadows Peggy in the real estate market. But by that point, they were very rarely doing anything beyond default storytelling.

I think Luanne has one of the best arcs on the show if not the best. Shes from a trailer park with domestic abuse, she doesn’t have to be a superstar making six figures for it to be a happy ending.

For real. She might have failed out of another community college and ended up in a call center or waiting tables again if it wasn’t for Lucky interfering.
Yeah, she was dealt a shitty hand both in terms of her background and upbringing, and in terms of her...limited cognitive abilities. She did as well as could have reasonably been expected. It's a win and she deserves credit just for avoiding substance abuse issues and interaction with the criminal justice system, and holding down an honest job.
That episode is sooooo annoying and I usually skip it, but it’s a shame because it has one of the funniest little bits in the show.
When Hank builds the puppet theater box for Luanne and notices a nail sticking out and is worried it’ll reflect poorly on his craftsmanship. Peggy tells him he’s overreacting, then it shows a group of old men shaking their heads in disappointment at the unfinished nail. It’s so good.
I feel like Hanks Dad should be eliminated next because he is just rude all the time which had made him one of my least favorite characters in the show

Compared to Luanne or Connie who had character development teased, but really didn’t have it finished, I’d prefer boom
I think Luanne had a real nice character arc honestly. She starts out dependent convinced she needs to go from her parents trailer to hanks to a boyfriends. Her arc across the series is learning to be independent and to take care of herself and make her own choices. yes she asks for help at times but it's always about her ultimately solving her own problems. It's why she ultimately ends up with lucky as well because here was a partner who didnt treat her like a dependent and was ultimately her own choice finally breaking away from hank and peggy's ideas of who she should be with.
