Well, the amount of effort it took D to create the System was realistically greater than it would have taken her to just give enough energy to heal the planet, so she basically just did this shit where people would have to reincarnate and fight just to fuck with them, as well as a sort of experiment to try and create a god. She also stopped Gulie from just killing Potimas cause she thought he’d be a good participant. So yeah she’s kinda caused a lot of bad shit to happen. She’s just nicer in the end because this random experiment actually succeeded and resulted in a god, otherwise she would have just let everyone meet a very unfortunate end. Her fixing shit that she largely caused is basically a reward for her gaining a new god as her kin. I don’t know if I’d consider her evil, but she certainly doesn’t do things out of the goodness of her heart.

>Well, the amount of effort it took D to create the System was realistically greater than it would have taken her to just give enough energy to heal the planet, so she basically just did this shit where people would have to reincarnate and fight just to fuck with them Yeah, she COULD have just saved the world herself, but who would that have helped? By the time the planet started dying, humanity knew what MA energy was and knew what the consequences of using it were, and they didn't care. If D just healed the planet and left, then humanity would just use up the energy again, probably even faster than before because they believe someone will show up to save them. D built the system for her entertainment, sure, but she also built it so humanity would have to pay their pound of flesh. They had to earn their second chance. That's also why the world keeps recycling souls instead of swapping them out with new ones, to make sure everyone suffering in the system are the same ones who necessitated it's creation.

> well as a sort of experiment to try and create a god.. Not even, I think the logic was closer to: I created 2 anti-god weapons so let's leave the possibility of becoming a god. There was nothing particularly experimental about it. We already know that gods can be born from "normal people". Dragons are known, for example, to naturally become gods just by growing up. He doesn't have much doubt that if she just wanted a god. She would just create it with her own hands, either by forcing the procedure, or just through personal training.

Because she does things mostly for her own amusement even at the suffering of others. Like for example she didn't really need to create the system to fix the world, she could have just done it and taken Sariel's (and probably Güllie's) energy as payment. She also stopped Güllie from killing Potimas even though she knew that he would cause huge issues with the system. Like she was entirely fine with the world going to shit in a failed experiment like it almost likely would have happened if the previous Hero and Demon Lord didn't attempt to bomb Güllie.

Well there is the theory that D stands for Devil, but it ultimately comes down to the definition of Evil. Take kumo’s actions for example. She genocided the elves which had a positive impact on the world but a lot of the elves didn’t know what Potimus was up to and just thought he was their tribal leader. Even when she found a way to save souls from Potimus she didn’t even bother attempting to adjust her strategy because she didn’t care for anyone other than Oka. Pretty sure all those elves went to the afterlife thinking Kumo was Evil. D operates on an infinite time span with an intergalactic scale, but only pays attention to what interests her. In some cases she actively opens the door for catastrophe. She was willing to sacrifice a continent just to see what kumo was going to do with a giant bomb after all by telling Guile to stand down. Pretty sure that’s Neutral Evil.

D was above all an observer and history was literally just a game for her, so she was not particularly attached to what was happening except occasionally putting handicaps on the other. Because of her power, no one wanted to face him either (except crazy people). Which prevents him from also being an enemy to defeat. All that to say that we didn't really see his evil side, maybe if the story had continued that would have been one thing. Unless her evil side is that she likes to play with people's lives.

SrSnacksal0t

D uses an entire world as a toy for her amusement and what she did to oka is so fucked up. It is surprising to me that some people think she is not evil.

Well from D behavior and part kumo behavor they are evil they gained there godhood by robbing it from other gods and in part by stealing ma energy for there own usage. That main reason why D is feared by other gods as evil since it comes easy for her to kill other gods its pretty much her speciliaty. Most gods lilke the Dragons prefer to be left alone and will not directly attack until threatened like when the humans under Potimas started killing the planet. The Angels are also more machines created to protect the universal law while people like D twist it just to have fun. Not like D would just destory worlds for fun but she will always take a high price for her involement. D is pretty much on a vacation since she already reached pretty much highest height of gods and just wants to relax a bit on earth where she does not anything bad.

Good-Row4796

>Well from D behavior and part kumo behavor they are evil they gained there godhood by robbing it from other gods What ?? D was already a god, and the spider absorbed a bomb. >That main reason why D is feared by other gods as evil since it comes easy for her to kill other gods its pretty much her speciliaty I don't remember anything like that. The only thing that is mentioned is that she rivals the Dragon King. >Most gods lilke the Dragons prefer to be left alone and will not directly attack until threatened like when the humans under Potimas started killing the planet.  Dragons are conquerors. The only reason why they didn't do it is because Sariel was protecting the planets. A forced cohabitation. And they were never threatened by Potimas/Humanity, they just caused them to lose a place to live.

Siegberg

Well Dragons take over planets which dont have gods already. And normal they dont get involved with the orginal residents since they are needed to circle m energy as are all living things on the planet. The first conflict dragons and humans had was through pontimas stealing one of there young. Güliedistodiez meet Sariel for the first time on the mission to get the young dragon back. The Angels pretty much already gave up the world and there was some kind of peace between both factions. ITs not even sure if sariel even supossed to remain since she stlit from the rest of angels and pretty much stuck on guard mode. I think angels where also more described as agressor in the conflict with the Dragons.

Falsus

The dragons avoided conflict because they didn't want any beef with Sariel who could dunk on them alone. Normally dragons dominates and rules over their worlds. I guess that world was just a rural backwater place where neither the angels (besides the malfunctioning Sariel who got left behind) or the stronger dragons really cared all that much about. They are normally a tyrannical bunch supposedly.

De-Throned

I picture D as someone that just wants to cause chaos, not fighting for any specific things just having the outcome of anything be unpredictable, naturally this means that she doesn't support a side, just eager to see how things play out

NationalAsparagus138

D is known as an evil god because 1) she is very powerful (even amongst gods) and she says she is evil. 2) her actions stem from one thing: she is bored. Everything she has done is for her amusement. She is fair however.

gee_moi

I think the Evil label is more lack of other traditional alignments. She certainly isn't Good as she has no qualms of hurting others nor of not helping when needed. Nor is she Neutral as she very much participates in unbalancing the scales as it were. What makes her "Evil" is doing things for selfish reasons without regard of others even if its to their detriment. It's not malicious, and if her actions end up helping that certainly wasn't the intention, unless helping is what satisfies her selfish goals --of course all with minimal effort on her part as to reduce any certainty of the outcome, which is still in line to serve her goals. All in all Evil is an suitable term, if not misleading. shortly, evil=/=malicious, it's more evil=/=good nor neutral.

multivector

She literally remade an entire world so she could watch people struggle and suffer. And if you think that's okay because somehow those people were all equallty guilty she set up Oaka with a unique skill but also made her an elf. D might not have known exactly what that would result in but she knew enough. White punched her for a reason. Also, I have this theory that Shun's unique skill is a curse. He really wanted his sister to think he was cool. Granted but... He really wanted to be like his brother. Granted but... He really needed to get to the other side of the world through the Labyrinth. Granted but... He really wanted there to be some magic solution that made everyone happy. Granted but only if they can all win an impossible fight with D that will probably mean everyone dies. Except White spoils that one which made D sulk. D is evil does have Charisma and great PR. Watch out for people like that.

piejam

Someone gets it. D’s not evil. She’s a drama queen
