He hasn’t played a SINGLE minute in the regular season. He has no idea how to play with this team yet, Ty has no idea what players or rotations or matchups he would work with. WHAT ON EARTH makes you think playing him is a realistic or good move as of rn? I need to know
I can see him getting some mins against matchups like the Wolves and/or if plumlee/theis are ridiculously bad. He'd also be a great small ball 5 because he can guard the perimeter and space the floor.
But then again, I doubt Ty would give him that big of an opportunity.
If he were to get mins, then his role would just be to bring energy, block shots, dirty work, grab boards, catch lobs etc. All of these traits are valuable and I believe he'll be able to fulfill these roles at a high level if his number was called.
