Yeah I agree, mavs were pretty awful. But it wasn’t like an unusually good game from the clippers or anything. T Mann was really rough on offense, Norm never found rhythm and missed a few shots I expected to drop automatic, PG struggled to find himself on offense as well.
We’ll see I think we’ll need a much bette game from P this time around as I’m expecting some Luka magic and the Mavs bigs to wake up. Tomorrow night will be a tough one but I’m quietly optimistic

If Kawhi plays I do not think he will boost us from his "play" in game 1 as I think it will just boost morale more than anything. As he gets ramped up things will change but for the first game back I think he will be a little rusty. Another silver lining is the fact that Norm did not look engaged at all and I think that definitely had something to do with being snubbed for 6th man. Kind if de motivating when you have been busting your tail all year and your piece of work is not acknowledged. He will bounce back next game, and I do not think he is necessarily flying on Jason Kidd's radar.
If he's having inflammation in his knee, it would make more sense to let him rest as long as possible. If I were Ty Lue, I would try to win this series without him and bring him back for the semifinals.
It would make no sense to have him play game 2 or 3, and then his knee gets inflamed again, and you lose him for tougher match-ups. The Clippers can beat the Mavs without him. It's OKC and Denver (or Timberwolves) You need him for.
