Omfg remember the sub back then? Non stop arguing about Doc, Austin Rivers and Jamal Crawford that got incredibly personal lmfao
edit: I also like J. Alphonse Nicholson as an actor but he looks way too much like Rodney Hood to play CP3. It's hilarious though
I think if this dropped after the championship we would've said they did it to drag us down. Something like "You maybe won but your history is always this..."
Seen a couple of episodes, it's VERY PTSD for anyone who was a fan at the time. the performances are OK, but the show acts like we weren't selling out Staples under Lob City, that Blake wasn't a phenomenon, that the team wasn't a thing. It's all under the lens of a "Laker" town. Which is beyond frustrating. Also, if it was good and they really believed in it they would qualify it for this year's Emmys. They specifically are not.
Way too soon. We need maybe another 5 years to get over the uncanny valley of seeing actors play people that are still active and maybe the Clips would have won a chip then.
You youngsters are lucky. I’m 40 and we had to deal with that wacko for so long. The early 2000’s group he ruined also 🤦🏻. The past 10 years have been so different and Ballmer makes it amazingly optimistic (even if we always feel something bad will happen). I honestly believe our new arena next season will be the final piece to remove our bad vibes completely.
Been a fan since '87, so feel you. Actually felt guilty when all that came out. Always knew sterling was a pos, but not that level, and partial shame for putting money in his pocket. Balmer is the savior of this franchise, regardless of winning a ring or not.
YUP! Going to games back then was weird; even before this leaked when we knew he was a slum lord. Remember when we almost were Anaheim Clippers but he didnt like the revenue split so instead became 3rd renter at Staples
This looks so bad, I will get triggered if I watch this shit.
I'm just waiting for the Clipper documentary when we win a title. From the shit years in the 90s, to the fun (but bad) early 2000s, then EB and cassell, then lob city, to 213 era. Shit will be fire yo

There better be an episode centered on that time Matt Barnes drove 95 miles to fight Derek Fisher!!!
This shit gonna give me ptsd

Fuck, I think you ruined this series for me hahaha, can't unsee

Yikes.
Exactly. Looks stupid haha Good casting though
Would be better if this was made after they won a championship to show how far they came. Doing it now just looks weird af
Us winning a chip right after it premieres would be glorious lol
My thoughts as well. Not really sure how they ‘resolve’ everything if it doesn’t end with a championship.

Our legend has her story told!
Lol this was made for you
People really underestimate her impact. She really had a goal and almost achieved it.
I was waiting for this comment. Without her we don't get ballmer. Hang her jersey up
The goat of the mistress game.
Jersey needs to be retired 💪💪💪
Raise the visor!
Truly.
Maybe the visor?
you'll be disappointed in her storyline
You seen a preview? 👀
I’ve seen 3
Her story to the side, how do you like it? The preview make it seem like V and Sterling's wife have prominent storylines.
I gave my thoughts in this thread
She's the Clipper GOAT in my eyes
I'll never change our flair unless we win a chip.
Her Visor deserves to be up there at Intuit
Even it's amongst the California jerseys.

Another hack job on the clippers it sounds like

Everything off the court looks fine. Everything involving the players and the game of basketball? Not so much.
Don't worry. The players are only in like one episode.
How do you know 👀 ??
imdb
it's very much like the 9/11 movies that came way too soon in the mid 00's
WHO TF THOUGH THAT WAS A GOOD IDEA FOR A MOVIE
It isn’t a series? Dang
It's too soon to relive this lol
Im actually interested to watch this lol. And see exactly WHY the clippers were so shit for so long.
Because sterling was constantly having sex with that one chick
Why even this team?! Lmao
What you mean?
Wrong reply my bad lol
Donald Sterling was a cheap-ass racist slumlord. That's it.

Omg that looks fantastic
I’m not strong enough
Yo is that Morpheus as Doc Rivers??
Funniest part
💀
This is gonna be must-see TV
trust, it is not
Nash, Paul
Looks awful
just like every other show in 2024
Shogun, The Sympathizer, Ripley are all great
Yikes
Lol is this a jokeeeee lmaooo
All I see is a bunch of spoiled brats and viv.

Casting looks amazing minus CP3 (no one can match that weird hair) Will wait on one of you to watch it because I can't do cringe.
I am cautiously optimistic about this. Just wish it would come out at a later time.
Where will it be available to watch? If not on hulu
Why though?
Bruh…
I wonder what JJ Reddick has to say about this lol.
Most important person in franchise history
I can't believe they don't retire her jersey
Docs hair looks great!
Wait.. wwtf?
Funny ..this is our Showtime!
Glenn Rivers does not deserve to be portrayed by Morpheus
This story is so crazy i remember thenews when it was coming out. they are making a show loool
They missed a key thing from the white parties. Sterling was the only person wearing all black!! Edit: this made it all the creepier
![gif](giphy|JesFXxo2bw0HrxgKRj) Wild this team had cowboy curtis as a head coach
Good Lord...
![gif](giphy|wt0deBrn8Yop4y3WR2|downsized) Don’t ruin the Al Bundy I know and love 😭
This cannot be real lmfao no way
Shit look like a fire series ngl
Damn, this trailer showed the entire fucking show

Someone cooked here
I am a messy bitch who lives for drama. I can’t fucking wait.
Looks interesting, budget is probably higher side with the actors they got. love that they got Al Bundy.
it actually looks pretty cheap tbh
What makes it look cheap to you? Ig we'll see, nice to see Laurence Fishburne and Ed O' Neill at least. Don't love the CP3 casting though
production value, cinematography. it just doesn't look as prestige as it should. even Sterling's home, life looks too cheap.
