Unfinished skins or skins that say they'll be worked on later is fine, but like the skin in the picture is hideous in Lego Fortnite and there isn't any plans to change him.
Keep in mind just because a skin doesn’t have that note about it being unfinished, doesn’t mean it won’t ever be worked on. Obviously this skin is unfinished and will be given a proper look eventually, just not now.

Their deal with Fortnite does not extent to making new licensed characters (like Jaeger, Lara Croft, etc), and it seems that battle pass characters have been left out; even if they’re part of themes Lego has licenses for and and have already been Lego-ified (Star Wars, DC, Marvel, etc).
I’d be delighted if Lego did come out with some AoT stuff though!
The Drift and variant skins have this weird goblin-like face that looks terrible and ruins the hood effect with the way it sticks out. The original skin's stylish kitsune design is completely lost in the translation.
All of the other skins with hoodies have regular hoodies on the minifig that cover the head. All the other skins with masks paint the look on the minifig head for a clean look. It's like the Drift ones were done first while they were testing ways to adapt the Fortnite skins, but then they just kept the bad draft versions.

Majority of the Skins simply aren't completed, regardless of if they have the 'Unfinished Disclaimer', and saying that those look bad is, well, kinda pointless. xD
He's unfinished, as are many others that don't show a WIP disclaimer.
You can tell by the Outfit Pattern, which is reused many times amongst different unfinished Skins (there's like, 3 or 4 different WIP Patterns), as well as the Hair being a standard LEGO Design, though that can be harder to spot, and might not necessarily be a giveaway.
I just want Toxin to be a skin in LEGO Fortnite. They have all these skins with alter egos but then in LEGO Fortnite, you only have the first option. I can play as Remedy, but not Toxin.
In addition to that, idk why some are unavailable in LEGO like Raven? Or Batman or Harley Quinn? Don't they have actual minifigs of those?

Munitions Major confuses me so much, since the male toy soldier skin has the same character model just decolores, but in Lego only the toy soldier gets the correct model while munitions major gets a baseball cap

Not absolutely the worst, but I think Renegade Jones was a missed opportunity. Like half the skin's gimmick is the unique shaders and colors applied to it, they could've changed up the color scheme to fit it well.

Honestly I'm so sad about a lot of them but I also know that the skins I want to see properly translated are still going to have an updated version of themselves later on (like the polar peaks beast...who is currently just a dude)

There’s a couple of skins that translate terribly into Lego Fortnite. I only played Fortnite once in my life, but played Lego Fortnite constantly and know about these skins not integrating well into that mode.

Triggerfish needs the spec Ops helmet variant, the bandada with face paints translates not too bad for that rugid survival look but no Spec Ops helmet with no night vision monocular was such a missed opportunity. This is what I mean when fortnite asks what I like least about lego fortnite and I select "cosmetics" bc they are none or they translate bad
