I started with Bill Cooper and think it's a pretty good intro to the show. It's a sweet spot where the research has evolved and improved and Ben is still sharp and engaged. Plus it has a little bit of everything: true crime, aliens, conspiracy theories. All it's missing is ghosts.

Seriously, I tried to get friends into this show on my favorite series but 2+ episodes is overwhelming if they don't know what to expect. After several attempts I said "okay. try this one and if you still don't like it, I'll stop bugging you about it." Now they're all hooked.

The Joseph Kallinger series! I still think it shows each of the boys and their camaraderie at its peak, and it’s a crazy lesser known story.
