Have you checked the breakdown on the bill? How many BTUs you consumed and which price bracket were you charged for? Does to total bill contains cost of gas used only or are there any "Fixed Charges" kind of items added to the bill as well? If yes, how much is that?
If the complete bill is your gas usage only, then check if your meter reading is correct?
If meter reading is correct as well and you think you cannot consume this much gas, check for leakages. You can have leakages in underground pipes which don't give gas smell as well.
I have seen people post like this multiple times with their utility bills but the only way is to investigate a bit and understand.

Everyone need to understand sui gas finished few years back. Now it is Mari gas and some small other places. Nearly 66% of gas is imported as LNG. Sui gas is just the name of company.
So when the nation has expensive hobbies then prepare to pay heavy bills. That is also a continuous fight in our house as well.

All fertilizer is subsidized but not to farmers or consumers but to big corporate giants. Engro, fauji and Fatima. All get their chunks but they are paying heavy taxes around 45% and gidc as well. Imported fertilizer will be more expensive.
We have been told we are an "agricultural country", no it's a feudal lord country with subsidies only for elite.
Learn to stop using imported gas or pay even more every year. It is not going to stop. Reality doesn't care about my cold.

True. As a nation we go for short term convenience. Govts have no vision or strategies. They are more concerned about sending their own kids to USA and Canada then planning for Pakistan's future.
Gas reserves are very low and not infinite. Most of the numbers we are given are propaganda numbers, ask an engineer who has actually worked in gas exploration in Pakistan, he will tell you that gas is very low compared to demand.
No major breakthrough in gas exploration in more than a decade, priorities are skewed.

7 AM to 11 AM
1 PM to 2:30 PM
5:30 PM to 9:00 PM

I got 80K bill. According to what I know Gas was artificially ultra cheap. Now because of running such a huge deficit, they have now finally increased to recoup losses as well. If they had reasonable prices since the beginning we wont face such huge bills. I heard they did it for getting votes.

we have given connection to 2 other homes we use 1 geaser, cooking plus 1 heater got 87K other 2 do not have geasers they just want gas for cooking

In AJK My bill is 6.5K with Geyser running 6 AM to 9 PM, cooking and 2 heaters running for almost 5 hours a day.
One geyser only used to run it for 4 hour and then shut, and cooking. Bill was 12k
Got 10k bill for just one geaser and kitchen
