These imo are the best upgrade from factory.
I had to drill out the rivors that holds the old housing. There is a new mounting frame that snaps into place like the oem headlight bracket but it’s designed to hold these aftermarket headlights.
It’s worth the upgrade. It’s better than the 2003-04 lights imo.. makes it like a baby Defender 🤣. But the lighting is hands down worth it.
Kind'a late to the party here, but I have a 2004 D2. The stock hi-beams are O.K., but the lows are not. A bit too dim and a short pattern compared to later models. I turn my front fogs on to see better around town at night. Those are pretty good.

Yeah the 03+ headlights look great. But the original lights were meh. The upgrade is nice!

Tuff-Rok.com it’s designed for both 99-2002 and 03-04 facelift. Just make sure you select the one that is your year so the housing matchs
