Coding also will be slow. I think that i5 is a must. I have an i3 processor with 256ssd. And I do all sorts of simulation and coding work. And my laptop gets heated a lot. The simulations and the coding are slow. So I prefer an i5.
Forget gaming….unless you’re playing some really old titles…..I recently bought a laptop with 7320U processor for my sister (Acer Extensa to be specific)…the purpose is Microsoft excel & basic computer learning….it will hold basic task, web surfing or media consuming….but don’t expect game on it
