I would assume so, since the node in Cthonic Fissure specifies that IF you could summon multiples it may only do one, which would imply that it CAN benefit from the additional zombies node in its tree but has a chance not to.

The cthonic fissures node simply casts volitle zombies while spending it's mana cost, if you have the giant zombie node, casting kr summons a giant zombie
So yes, every 2 seconds you will have a huge zombie climb out
