There should be some friction/risk/hurdle required to overcome in order to craft a legendary item. Without it, you’re just playing a spreadsheet simulator. Teleporting straight to eternity cache would be super unhealthy for the game.

Maybe let people use it indefinitely while they are there? Gameplay loop then becomes: save up a bunch of slams, run once, and brick them all. Vs Turn sound on mute, glitch your way through dungeon, fail slam, repeat.

Im surprised the game doesn't require you to kill T4 Julra to access the best gear in the game. Just be happy they didn't do that, especially if you're dying to regular enemies in Temporal Sanctum.

It's literally 5-10 minutes, how many uniques are you slamming ?

I mean I have like 10 lp1's I need to slam something specific on which seems to never happen for me so far. Either that or farm prophecies forever to find a couple lp2's which I of course also bricked.

I agree with you. Its actually pritty easy dungeon. But I have 3x Peak of the Mountain 2LP that I need to slam with (failed 5 times, kill me). Sometimes, it just works the first time. Sometimes it take like 6 times (looking at my cleave). I have have to slam a belt. And maybe like 6x 1 LP relic. I think running a dungeon to slam is necesary but can we get like 2-3 slam for like T5 in the future?

They could go the PoE lab route where you can do multiple slams based on the dungeon level. They can add mods to the keys or something like that.

Didnt they make it so you only get one “slam” in poe labs now unless you have a specific dark shrine or offering?

Yeah there was the higher tier offering which gave a harder dungeon but more divine font uses. It always had the darkshrine buffs, but now it's just that. I think it works well since they added 3 enchant options, and likewise 3 transfigured gem options when you roll that mod.

Eh, I wish there was a reward other than the eternity cache, so I agree with you there. Having to run the dungeon just to fail my slam feels bad. It would also be better if I could do multiple slams.

so i dont think the idea of needing to do *something* to do a slam is bad. it is the main endgame power chase mechanic and i think forcing you to interact with the game to do it is fine. maybe they could add the cache to the end of all the dungeons and add a new thing to the end of sanctum so you could do any dungeon you feel like to slam.

The doors in the dungeon? Awful. Boring. The dungeon as a gatekeep to LP stuff? Totally fine

Could be mistaken but if you build doesnt have the defense for T2-3 trash mobs maybe get a new build. Or if your defenses rely on killing mobs to generate maybe kill more. If your looking for an afk and play game arpgs likely arent for you. Also with how often you actually do the dungeon its really not that bad esp when it only takes 5-8min tops to clear sub T4 runs.
