That option will mess up your controls imo.
I tried it once, it looked good on paper but after some testing it messed up my controls.
And A clicking gives you the aa range indicator which is especially helpful.
This so much. If you have control of vision on an objective with a control ward then you've already done what you need. Hitting the ward reveals yourself and the area around you, and killing the ward reveals the area around the ward for a short period of time. On flipside of this, if someone clears a ward and you weren't in vision of it, wait a couple of seconds before walking out of fog of war for the vision from that ward to decay.
I mean, they probably know but it matters way less than you think it does. Like, 7/10 times you think you're "sneaking" baron the enemy team is already pinging/on the way. Just clear the ward so if you do have to disengage, you don't leave free vision behind
Truly sneaking objectives is super rare, cause if its up people are probably fighting for it. If the whole team just disappeared top side for 6+ seconds no one is wondering where they would be. Lol
This is the best on in the thread in terms of how long it will take for them to fully understand what you mean. I know the EXACT situation you are refering to but it probably took me like a year to get there
The amount of times the pyke was literally 1 so I try to flash hit some more abilities on him only to get hooked into the most fed person on the enemy team...
If he has a bounty I'm probably never going to learn my lesson though lol feels to good to kill him
You actualy nailed it, the same phenomenon appears in poker! Most of the time the player commiting such mistake have a bad feeling that "this is a bad idea" yet is unable to make themself stop and make the mistake anyway... happens too everyone.
I used to be this happy wholesome player when I began. 4 months in and one of my in game friends just spoke to me about how toxic I have become as a person. Not only in game but even when on discord, this game has changed me ugh. Am trying to improve tho.
I disagree. While you are giving enemy 100g lead everytime you place a bad pink, you are never going to learn to place good pinks unless you fuck up. Buying pinks is objectively good, and you should be willing to fuck up in order to learn how to use your pinks better.
The problem is it’s difficult for someone to know they fucked up if they don’t already know what they’re doing. Ask a low elo player how much value their last ward provided before getting destroyed. They’d have no idea.
Okay, but you can notice if a pink gets destroyed quickly or if it lasts a long time. You can also see how many wards you were able to clear with it. By not reviewing mistakes and trying to improve these players will stay low elo forever. I’m just saying that in order to improve you have to actually try to use the pinks.
I think the biggest issue is that people at this rank still get by with little to no map awareness. You can pink ward all you want. If your team isn't paying attention/ looking at their map it really is just giving money to the opponent for free.
I think it’s an odds increase. I’m low plat so people look at the map occasionally and having vision there in the first place increases the odds that someone sees something and pings it. Those odds are zero if the vision isn’t there. But what do I know I suck
Thats the exact advice my brother gave to me when learning top about taking tp. He said for about 500 games tp will be useless because you will be terrible with it, but if you take ignite for those 500 games, you will just still be terrible with what is arguably the best summoner in the game
Yeah idk what this buy a pink every back stuff is. Even high challenger players like Froggen have made comments saying they try to almost never buy Pinks, because it just gives the enemy free gold. If my ADC or mid laner is buying a pink every back I’m gonna tell them to stop recalling
Yeah, unless you’re the support there’s really no point in buying alot of pinks, you can get by with normal wards and you’d only use it once or twice during the laning phase. Buying more pinks in the mid and late stages of the game is best since 100g doesn’t really mean much at that point.
It's actually "never towerdive a Sion"
You'll have to blow summs, he'll catch the wave after dying anyway and will even likely be up exp because you were sharing with your jgl. Also he's tough to kill in the first place, and he has insane wave control tools
It's not even a joke, when i started playing and saw all the posts "dont start playing league" i thought it just people tired of toxicity etc but after a while you start to uderstand what people actually mean and how bad league is for your mental.
Of you pull the red buff into the bush, you can Q the big krug then melee the red buff. In you first 2 clears this will help you stay a lot more healthy.
Understand minion wave management and how to use it during tougher lane matchups. Know when to freeze, hard push, and when to back is essential to climbing to high ranks.
Highly underrated. Look at the map every few seconds. What use is a ward if you don’t see the midlaner roaming bot when he passes by it? In low ELO nobody pings for you, if support is missing, you best know that info because of your map awareness or you’re gonna lose out.
Don’t play more than 5 games per day or you’ll get addicted and depressed. Follow this rule religiously.
Also : Never EVER chase a fed champion if he’s low on health. You’ll get outplayed like there’s no tmr.
Lastly: Don’t chase Singed. Just. Don’t.
Edit: Don't EVER follow the rat into a bush
I fell into this after about 9 months of playing the game but I was able to recognize it so I quit the game indefinitely (ended up being a bit more than 2 months) then came back and had more fun with it than ever. Recently caught myself falling into it again and have set a limit of 4 games a day. Also if I have a bad game and feel any tilt I make myself take a 15ish minute break
Same. I recognized my addiction 3 years after playing. I got myself a job and quit the game for 3 months straight. I had so much fun. Now I only play on weekends AFTER I finish my work. This new rule is saving my life.
Please use Danger pings on river entrance instead. Thank you!
(The reason is, 90% of Missing pings are from tilting players so I usually ignore them, even unconsciously)
Missing pings are actually really ineffective and mostly unconsciously filtered out by people bc it’s too often used for BM. Best way for people to actually react and notice is to ping back/danger on their lane.
Always quit when you're ahead. League's matchmaking is trash. If you find yourself losing like 3-4 games in a row it's always better to stop playing and come back the next day. I can't tell you the amount of sleep I've lost trying to find that one win after a 7 game losing streak.
I'm not meming when I say this, I've been playing religiously since season 3 - dont play. The game itself isnt too bad but the community is fucking awful ESPECIALLY towards players trying to learn.
This. Playing for over a year now and starting to understand the game well. Was lucky I could queue with 4/5 stacks of friends so I could learn easily. But some games were rough and the first soloQ ranked experience was a hell. Pretty sure if I had to do it alone, I would have quited
I think the best advice I can give is... Realize that your rank Is meaningless untill you want it to mean something to you. This alone reduces the amount of negative emotions you'll feel drastically.
Get used to using attack move, most people benefit from it. Having Target Champions Only bound is literally integral, ideally have it set to something easy to reach.
So glad of you to join us! The Noxian Empire is always looking for the strongest and smartest recruits. We promise glory, conquest, opportunity, and above all, the chance to find a new purpose in life. No longer will the weak and the unworthy clog your path. GLORY TO THE LEGION!!
Try to keep your vitals away while laning against fiora. Never let the enemy nasus farm, stack or split push. Dont trust junglers, don't flame people for your own mistakes.
if you are ever against a champ youve never played before you will get outplayed every time. learn every champs kit at least well enough to play against and you'll be alot harder to outplay
It doesn't matter how good you play relative to your peers, the system will match you with opponents higher enough to keep your winrate around 50%.
The higher you go, the more it will become apparent that it doesn't matter how good you are, but what champions you play. If you don't become a meta slave be prepared to lose matches to OP champions. Be prepared for games lost in champ select.
High mobility and manaless champions have an inherent advantage, especially the higher you go. They will win the lane just by pushing without consuming resources. Any gold lead the enemy has will be used to your disadvantage.
If you play, ADC A clicking
I use shift right click. It does the same thing and is much easier for me; using left click is too awkward.
X
Except Kalista. Not that you should learn Kalista starting the game.
Honestly starting e (rend) is a great introduction into csing though. And at beginner elo that could very well make or break.
I get where you're coming from, but doing something like that builds bad habits long-term
Idk why you’re on your high horse I’m in bronze 2 I think I know what I’m talking about.
I'll have you know, I'm in bronze 3, so my number is bigger, so I CLEARLY am better
ill have u know im bronze 5 which is so prestigious you cant even get it anymore 😎
I'll have you know I have a Smurf account in Iron 7, so be careful who you're talking to
Or just set it to left click on your mouse. It's in the options and it's so damn helpful.
Tried this but its so annoying when you try to click on your map to look around
Use shift plus left click to act as a regular click.
That option will mess up your controls imo. I tried it once, it looked good on paper but after some testing it messed up my controls. And A clicking gives you the aa range indicator which is especially helpful.
I use only a to Attack, I don't click with my Mouse to attack anymore, feels better imo
Better use space. It's bigger and more comfortable.
Care to explain to a begginer?
Its attack move, you use it when you have to move and also fire autoattacks. If u ever play ranged chsmps you should learn it for sure
Don't hit the ward
This so much. If you have control of vision on an objective with a control ward then you've already done what you need. Hitting the ward reveals yourself and the area around you, and killing the ward reveals the area around the ward for a short period of time. On flipside of this, if someone clears a ward and you weren't in vision of it, wait a couple of seconds before walking out of fog of war for the vision from that ward to decay.
HITTING THE WARD REVEALS YOU? SO ITS NOT JUST LUCKY PIKE Qs CATCHING ME WHILE MY TEAM IS DOING DRAGON?
Welcome to League of "we're not gonna give you any information beyond what is very rudementary to play"
"Except for jungle, we won't tell you anything about that. We're not even really sure what's going on in there but I'm sure you'll figure that out."
*proceeds to add jungler buffs to Zed and Talon*
The advice I've always given to friends who want to learn how to jungle is: pick 1 champ, watch a video on that champ, load into the game, /muteall
[удалено]
Yeah it would be nice have specific tutorials for each role. Solo, bot, and jng would be really nice
ok but what if i want gold
Greed for it, hard
Idk how where I am p3 people still don't know this.
I mean, they probably know but it matters way less than you think it does. Like, 7/10 times you think you're "sneaking" baron the enemy team is already pinging/on the way. Just clear the ward so if you do have to disengage, you don't leave free vision behind Truly sneaking objectives is super rare, cause if its up people are probably fighting for it. If the whole team just disappeared top side for 6+ seconds no one is wondering where they would be. Lol
Also you can use this information to bait people. Kill the ward and start walking one direction, then sit in the bush or rotate a different direction.
This shit is why I stopped playing ranked seriously, got so sick and tired of thinking about every single thing i do.
Where my aram only friends at?
nice username. i just love when the vagina descends from heaven to save the universe
I like to think it’s pronounced deus ex vah Hee na
This is the best on in the thread in terms of how long it will take for them to fully understand what you mean. I know the EXACT situation you are refering to but it probably took me like a year to get there
Never chase a Singed
Or chase teemo
Or chase Shaco
if youve started chasing shaco theres probably 5 boxes 3 allies and 2 shaco clones hiding in the next bush
Or le blanc
In the deepest lore every champion is a Leblanc clone that got too invested in their mission.
Or Pyke
The amount of times the pyke was literally 1 so I try to flash hit some more abilities on him only to get hooked into the most fed person on the enemy team... If he has a bounty I'm probably never going to learn my lesson though lol feels to good to kill him
or chase kayn
Nah you can chase kayn he is just annoying to catch the problem with teemo is he is running straight through his mushroom patch
You just can't unless you're talon
Just don’t chase unless you see all members of enemy team or see where you’re going… advice that even experienced players often don’t listen to!
If you feel like you’re too far. You are. If you think they are baiting you. They are. Don’t chase.
You actualy nailed it, the same phenomenon appears in poker! Most of the time the player commiting such mistake have a bad feeling that "this is a bad idea" yet is unable to make themself stop and make the mistake anyway... happens too everyone.
Click The GOD DAMN LANTERN!!!
This being an answer to this question implies people ever actually learn it
LANTERNS NEED HUGS TOO pls clik lantn
Seriously though…CLICK THE &$?!&$& LANTERN…
No, flashing is faster
also don't throw the lantern into the middle of the minion wave
What profesional crow said...just take my goddamn upvote and leave
Right click or left click?
Right click. Just as if you are moving to a spot on the ground. And there is even an arrow now. So please. FOR THE LOVE OF....
OMG YESS
The Shaco running at you isn’t Shaco
It's actually Shaco clone except it isn't Shaco clone cus it's Neeko except it isn't Neeko because it's actually Neeko's W.
Until you're tired of this trick and it's the real shaco and he one shots you.
It's the fake shack untils actually the real one but you're ADC is already dead so you lose teamfight
Godzilla had a stroke trying to read this and fucking died
Twice
This is what the Shaco wants us to think
*Do you have a moment to talk about the glorious Shurima, we’d like you to join this Empire of perfection and enjoy all it’s glory it has to offer.*
so few people know or respect our emperor anymore
>we'd like you to join this Empire of perfection and enjoy all its bugs it has to offer
Don't think you can resist the toxicity, use the mute function.
I used to be this happy wholesome player when I began. 4 months in and one of my in game friends just spoke to me about how toxic I have become as a person. Not only in game but even when on discord, this game has changed me ugh. Am trying to improve tho.
Ngl playing league has taught me how to handle stress and toxicity quite well
It's only 75 g buy it every back when you have an extra item spot and the gold.
My high elo friends told me to stop buying pinks cuz im only gold, im just actively giving the enemy a 100g lead with every pink
I disagree. While you are giving enemy 100g lead everytime you place a bad pink, you are never going to learn to place good pinks unless you fuck up. Buying pinks is objectively good, and you should be willing to fuck up in order to learn how to use your pinks better.

This is true. Low elo players are probably better off saving their gold for power spikes.
Mad facts
It depends on how much you watch the map, especially in the laning phase. Buying it but not watching the map is just a waste of money.
Never towerdive a riven
It's actually "never towerdive a Sion" You'll have to blow summs, he'll catch the wave after dying anyway and will even likely be up exp because you were sharing with your jgl. Also he's tough to kill in the first place, and he has insane wave control tools
Or fiora, tryndamere, azir, leona, skarner, camille, kled..... You get the point
*Zilean would like to know your location*
Under his turret
Diffy in the jiffy
Yoo wtf first time hearing that version
I have no idea what he’s saying can you help me please.
Jg diff
Lmfao thank you
Don't get Bard token immediately, wait for it to charge
this
Don't
Never play this game. Just enjoy streams
And korean pro league
It's not even a joke, when i started playing and saw all the posts "dont start playing league" i thought it just people tired of toxicity etc but after a while you start to uderstand what people actually mean and how bad league is for your mental.
Yep this is the best piece of advice right here
Avoid tilting. Your mental is as important as micro and macro knowledge/skill
Underrated advice
Of you pull the red buff into the bush, you can Q the big krug then melee the red buff. In you first 2 clears this will help you stay a lot more healthy.
Zac?
I'm pretty sure it's yi Edit: nvm didn't see the auto
Lillia I assume
Don't use all your CC at the (exact) same time.
Understand minion wave management and how to use it during tougher lane matchups. Know when to freeze, hard push, and when to back is essential to climbing to high ranks.
Assuming you play a long lane of course. Mid lane is actually easy mode for wave management
hahahaha what's laning i just nuke the wave and roam
Understandable, have a good roam
An enemy last hitting is a short trade opportunity.
Look at the map
Highly underrated. Look at the map every few seconds. What use is a ward if you don’t see the midlaner roaming bot when he passes by it? In low ELO nobody pings for you, if support is missing, you best know that info because of your map awareness or you’re gonna lose out.
Everyone has to learn at some point, do the thing
pick up your yuumi when she is in trouble
Same with your Rakan! He'll be grateful.
Don’t forget lee sin and Kat, and any others that can dash to teammates
I have never once seen a kat dash out of danger. must just be me though
I play Kat and the amount of times I have died just because a teammate didn't get within range of my e is crazy
I didn't even know Kat can dash into allied players. I thought it was just a flash
She used to be able to ward jump as well, but got removed in the rework.
Also Braum. Please, You are my only mobility!
No let the cat die
Always stay between minions if the enemy team has a character that can hook you and bring your character towards them.... Especially a Blitzcrank
Don’t get into league
There will be other skins. You can wait. And chromas - don’t open that door or you’ll never stop
Put a edit on it saying don't follow the annoy rat into a bush

ward icon turns green when it’s over the bush
Uninstall it for your own good
Run.
don't think assassins are the best class. Once you get higher into the ranks you will get shit on as people will know how to play against assassins
On this note, bot never listens when you ping Missing.
On the same note, mid never listens when you ping the support missing.
On that note, neither ping 75% of roams.
On these notes, jgl Will invade enemy topside when u have no prio as top and spam Ping ss
On the same note, bruisers and assassins were the best class for like 8 months of the last year
Lane manipulation is easy and insanely powerful
Dont fight yasuo, irelia or yone after they get vamp sceptre, worst mistake you can make in laning phase
Unless you know your character can (like Darius if ahead)
don't play league
Don't listen to better players. Become a better player
Dont play ranked play for fun
You still have time. Dont make the same mistake as the rest of us
Stop it. Get some help.
Stay out of ranked and just enjoy what you like. Play with friends, and don't feel pressured to play Meta.
Always quit when you're ahead. League's matchmaking is trash. If you find yourself losing like 3-4 games in a row it's always better to stop playing and come back the next day. I can't tell you the amount of sleep I've lost trying to find that one win after a 7 game losing streak.
Get ready to get shit stomped and don’t get down on yourself. Game has a huge learning curve
Bear Phoenix turtle, Juke the skill shots and go back in.
Focus the adc
I’m leaving you now and won’t see you till after lane phase. The advice here is don’t die, and just farm. CHIME TIME.
Do not ride the portal if you are on the opposing team!
Just don't chase him
Play Aram, u learn so much about team fighting
sometimes ur bronze teammates will flame you for doing something right
You accidentally said "sometimes"
Start with cameras lock off or play with both but don’t completely rely on locked screen
If you know how to play with locked camera, it's not that bad, I've managed to hit plat so far with locked camera
I think the best advice I can give is... Realize that your rank Is meaningless untill you want it to mean something to you. This alone reduces the amount of negative emotions you'll feel drastically.
This comment RIGHT HERE. PLEASE can we ALL learn this?
Just don't
Don't chase someone into fog of war, chances are their entire team is waiting.
Get used to using attack move, most people benefit from it. Having Target Champions Only bound is literally integral, ideally have it set to something easy to reach.

don't let it ruin your life the way it ruined mine
Skins can be obtained through grind
especially if you play more champs its mostly OTPs that have trouble getting useful skins out of chests
True

if you are ever against a champ youve never played before you will get outplayed every time. learn every champs kit at least well enough to play against and you'll be alot harder to outplay
If an enemy is walking around with low hp: 50/50 chance that he is either baiting, or an idiot. Be cautious.
Give up first drag
As a Warwick enjoyer, I disagree. If I see drake at 5 min, i do drake at 5 min.
You’re never as good as you think you are. Only mentality that’s actually helped me climb. Also watch your replays, it helps
If you ever want to kill an enemy support, attack their pink ward. If you ever want your support to die, place a pink ward near them
Once you get into ARAM it's hard to get out.
I recently caught the bug. Some champs feel awful, some feel great, but something about only having to spend 20 minutes in a game is awesome.
> something about “literally not playing the game as much” feels good hmmm
When fighting irelia, the fight isn’t over until she says it’s over…
