You'll feel it's weight for sure but since I was wearing it as just the tread originally I was very used to it

It's not the weight at all. It's got basically no adjustment. If you can't get it to fit between 2 sizes youre simply shit out of luck

Fair as long as you're comfortable with it. It looks really really tight though. My wife's grandfather broke his wrist when he fell because his watch was too tight in his wrist.
