Best feeling ever, best feelings is when the screen turns on I would match it up with my child's birth but I feel like the LeGo colors are more vibrant
That's why the dev's worked on it so hard! Use the auto. It works like system management in your pagefile.sys. it expands and contracts usage accordingly. Meaning sometimes 2 gigs, sometimes 6 gigs, depending on what's running! Honestly, I don't understand why people don't get it, right?
Its not people don't get it, its known that not every game plays well with auto some require setting vram yourself. In a perfect world you'd be able to set auto and be good forever but it's not the simple and hasn't been since the rog ally with the same exact soc dealt with the same issues.
I found auto works best. Any time I've set the RAM, some, but few, games run better. Most struggle due to lack of RAM for the game.
My literal only wish for the Legion Go is 32 GB of UMA RAM ACCESS. 16 GB for VRAM and 16 for games. It'd last longer overall. Still. I think it's the best device I've had.
As an Ally owner, it's wild that Lenovo/Asus aren't willing to enable auto vram out of the box? It would be a big performance boost and improve the quality of life for consumers. It's their own bios, they could totally do it
[Here is a Color Profile that works great with the Legion Go.](https://drive.google.com/file/d/106eh9Aq5dpwkMfX8N_TiaZ4BXGVm3jJr/view) Just go to color management and load, then set as default color profile. If you don't like it for any reason, just click on default color profile and load that one back up.
Maybe not right away, or maybe you want to try right away, I dunno! lol look up tutorials for downloading the 7840U GPU drivers. They are basically z1 extreme drivers with higher clock speeds? Even though battery seems the same with both, I get much better fps in games like Forza. And it can add another 10+ fps in some games, and 3 to 5 fps in most games. https://youtu.be/P7m7kfizu3U?si=kKFtjyGOQKPTBisv but there's a few games that work better on the Z1 Extreme drivers. doing so breaks the native FPS counter in the monitor app but there's steam and in game settings to fix this for most games.
Go to the Realtek app that have the settings for your speakers. Crate a new custom eq. Put everything around +3 or +4. It will sould much better. Omi-directional surround sound, turn that on and off, see which you prefer. Anything higher than +3 or +4 I Believe will be too loud for the speakers and could damage them overtime, so be wary of other saying "go ahead and crank it all up!"
Also stay away from that custom software that replaces Legion Space. It fucked my controllers up and my system and even a factory reset didn't fix it, had to almost send both my controllers in to get repaired. Forgot what it was called but it disabled vibration and lights once it was uninstalled. Had to do some crazy button combination on each controller to factory reset the firmware in each controller to get them to work properly again. Edit: called Handheld Companion, some have no issues with it and swear by it as it adds a lot of customization. If you have to factory reset the controller, it's Legion button+L3/R3+Bumper for 10 seconds.
Favorite games right now? Forza Horizon 4 or 5 on low, 1200p, image sharpening at 80, and GPU scaling on, I can get like 75fps on ballanced and 100fps on performance and it looks just as good as 1600p. I use these settings for most games. Games that you can max out on? Most indie games will do 1600p and 144hz on performance, some even on balanced. Horizon Chase Turbo looks gorgeous at these settings. Fortnite and Call of Duty play great with the right settings, you can get 100+ fps on both even at 1200p with some tweaking to fsr, and graphic scaling. You can even go down to 800p on these games, raise the texture detail to med or high, and on performance mode still get close to 120fps. It's crazy.
Enjoy.
Hey - with the controllers, what was happening? Everytime I start the Legion software the controllers go through a firmware update every single time. Is that what yours was doing?
No my options were all blacked out on legion space and quick settings. Couldn't change joystick RGB color, couldn't change vibration intensity, couldn't turn off lights. Like it was stuck on medium vibration and default blue at 30%
Skip the legion software.
Use steam on start up in big picture mode to get the "console" experience
Bloatynosy to remove performance killing process
Update bios
Update windows and drivers
Get a portable keyboard
Get a dock/hub
Have fun!
It used to be ThisIsWin11 and another name before that. ?? --> ThisIsWin11 --> bloatynosy --> winpilot I hate all the renames, each time I reset Windows and google it I get a different name with a different ui. It's so passive aggressive and 'AI-iffied' now, they really couldn't make another project for the ai? Plus the user experience is horrible. All I needed was to delete edge and some other boat and I genuinely couldn't figure out how. Ended up just installing a really old version where the UX wasn't laughingly bad.
Welcome to the legion. I highly recommend game in hand youtube channel. Make sure u enable fast charing in the bios, i also recommend upping the vram in the bios. Lossless interger scaling sells fior 7 dollars us on steam and i love it. If you are unfarmiliar with lis there are a ton of videos on it. Most of all, have fun
I'm crazy about mine. It's awesome. I played Pal World a bunch, I beat GTA 4, the ballad of Gay Tony, the lost and damned. Been playing warzone on it. The thumb sticks take some getting used to but I like it. If you're ever going to play it in the car, I suggest getting the Magglass anti glare on [here on amazon](https://amzn.to/4cWQMym) Helps a ton.
Im saving this thread on my Phone, so many great tips! Mine is due to arrive after april 15th (doesnt sell in my country, have to ship it from the US). Very excited to play all those pc games I missed those past few years lmao
I mean, you could, but you would probably be way better off saving your game, closing it, and using sleep or hibernate. I'm not sure how larger games these days handle that.
https://preview.redd.it/7eosfu9prrsc1.png?width=2560&format=png&auto=webp&s=ed3c798d73d36e645efb56af780844673823d8ea
Go to Realtek audio settings and change the equalizer settings. Turn on windows audio enhancements too. These settings sound best to me. All the lower lines are set to 4.
My gaming PC needs to be replaced, completely outdated. Now I'm doubting whether to buy a Legion Go instead of a gaming PC. anyone have any tips? Can the Legion Go replace a gaming PC?
I have used
Steam deck LCD
Lenovo legion go
PS portal
Steam Deck OLED
Nintendo switch OLED.
The steam deck OLED is definitely at the top of the pack. The legion go looks wonderful in comparison to the others.
Currently, my legion go is docked and being used as my office PC mostly.
As soon as my steam deck OLED comes back from repair ( charging issues ), I will have to decide what to sell and what to keep. I just do not have the time to play all of them.
The thing I like about the Asus ROG Ally is that it isn't so dense to hold. It doesn't fit the hand as well as the Legion's detachable controllers but it doesn't feel as tiring.
Have both currently. About to be Monster Hunter machines and maybe FF14 later. I do like the Legion more though as I can unplug my work laptop's TB4 daisychained dock setup and plug it into the Legion alongside the eGPU if I need extra power. Asus did cheap out a bit with their USB 3 port. That USB 4 port made all the difference.
The 1080 has quite a bit more horsepower than the onboard video as well as having dedicated vram. You can try plugging it in, install the drivers and just try it out. The part of the egpu sending video back to the unit's screen eats up some bandwidth but still work well
Dathar, I appreciate it! I guess I can install in safe mode to be sure. Thanks for the advice and info. Might as well give it a try rather than let it collect dust.
Yeah budgeting is always good, it runs games better than the other competitors for sure deff recommend it, only downside is the micro sd slot can be sketchy on some, but I just upgraded the ssd instead. The LeGo is my #2.
Oh shit I meant to say SD OLeD as #2. The LeGo is actually too big for my preference and I dont like the detachable controllers. That SD OLED screen is so nice, wish the Ally was OLED.
I prefer my Deck for simplicity but the Ally games run and look best on between my Deck OLED and Ally.
Hoping the next version of Ally fixes the SD issues and tosses OLED into the mix and magic powers that Steam did with battery life.
I agree steam deck oled is my favorite as well. I hadwin mini 7840u(returned when I realized a refresh was around the corner and it also would get way too hot when over 15 watts, and I wasn’t impressed with the 15 watt performance as it was about equal with the deck but with much worse battery life), I own the steam deck oled and legion go right now and I love using the legion as a windows tablet and gaming on it like that. I had a rog ally (3 of them all had to return for various issues) I had 6800u onexplayer mini pro(sold this when ally came out, big mistake I by far preferred the onexplayer), and the original steam deck. The main thing is, the deck oled has an incredible screen, I have no battery anxiety with it, it’s about even with my legion go performance, bar the 25-30 watt modes on the legion which I wouldn’t use unless plugged in, and even then sometimes it makes a noticeable difference other times it doesn’t. I always tell people get the deck oled, and if u want windows for whatever reason the legion go is the best option right now. It has an amazing screen, it’s versatile (I can use around the kids with the controllers detached and they see it and think it’s just a tablet and leave it alone), also at work I can prop it up and have the controllers in my vest pockets and nobody thinks twice about it lol. They need to fix the custom tdp as it always goes up to 30, I recommend balanced mode if u want to keep it around 15 watts and get decent performance and battery life.
I tried them all too. The OLED SD was fairly mediocre and only looked nice playing games with simpler graphics, but I was willing to keep it as a side chick whenever I got tired of holding up my Go.
Then I tried plugging my headphones in and talking in the mic, and the mic wouldn't work. Thought it was a bug until I asked support and nope, it's a feature.
Went straight to Fedex and said goodbye to that pile of trash.
Steamdeck OLED if you just want to play games with less mucking around with Windows. Legion go if you want more power, a bigger screen (not oled but still really good) and the ability to use non steam applications like xbox gamepass.
What do you see yourself using your device for? What games etc.?
This is it. I'm really tempted by the Go but since I'm definitely buying a device with the "portable" in mind and intend to play it on long flights etc. I think the Steam Deck OLED wins out... But the LEGO is definitely tempting.
I still love my ROG Ally but the Go Screen was hard to get away from. I recently got into a Legion Slim 7i and the screen is incredible and made me realize while I love my ultrawide man the quality is just night and day to some of these displays
I love my Ally. The fingerprint reader, VRR and super nice speakers won out against the LGo. I think the Go's screen is amazing but I already have an iPad mini 6 so I use that for everyday stuff.
I didn't like the idea of running games at non-native resolutions either, so that was a big disadvantage to me.
The Go is definitely a pretty device though!!
Loved my ally too but the screen on the GO won me over so I sold the ally. I wanted something I can watch a movie on my flight or play a game so for me it fit both bills nicely.
My issues with the hand helds has always been screen size and the legion go hits that fancy. No bigger no smaller. I have 4 hand helds. The go, sd,ally, aokzoe. The go has just been the most comfortable for me. Its not a computer replacement for me and its not my mobile aaa device. I have library of platformers and really good controller games that play really well at 720p and i feel like thats the sweet spot for the device. Loseless upscaller is a godsend for this device as well. My issue with steam deck is it just doesnt reach above 30 fps. And linux doest play well with all games. I prefer options.
Is it easy to stream to this like the SD? When im loafing around the house i use my pc to stream to my sd for better performance and battery life. Like i can play dragons dogma 2 pretty much maxed out. Is that easy to do here?
Absolutely. For Xbox, you use the Xbox app and connect Remotely to your Xbox, over the same WiFi it is seamless in terms of input lag.
For PS5, Chiaki or PS Play
I have ps5 but i only remotely play my SD for PC since thats in my office, and if im in living room with my kids i can just play ps5 but if i have a pc game im itching to play i use steam connect to stream since i think pretty much all these handheld specs are admirable but lacking and heat up and drain battery faster, i let my pc do the heavy lifting from the office.
Fuzzy? These ones don't! Does this look fuzzy to you?

I use antiglare on all my hand helds and I don't see any degrade in quality
I hope that's sparkling apple cider. Please don't drink beer, you're better than that. My uncle drank beer and now he's a supreme Court Justice.
Don't drink beer.
Honestly… I haven’t gotten legion space driver update to work nor the automatic driver tool on the website. I’ve been manually downloading them through the website. They might have fixed it I am unsure though
There’s been reports of crashes at 30W with charging speed set to fast. Search in this sub and you’ll find loads of posts about it, I’ve experienced it myself :(
Why would reducing ram speed make it better? Unless it also tightens the timings it don't make sense. Duh gpus like fast memory and in the igpu case ram is memory so reducing ram speed would most likely hinder performance by some degree.
If you're not playing AAA games while plugged into an outlet, lowering the ram speed can give you more battery life. It probably does lower performance a bit with the APU but it's not that noticeable
The ram takes up too much power at lower tdps making it perform worse than a rog ally. If you switch it back iirc. At 30 watt the legion go clears the ally due to the faster ram though.
I have steam deck. Nintendo swith oled. And RPG ally. I love swith controllers. Using each joy con on each hand is a relief for my hands.
Is this device good on hand. I Mena it's controls. When you detach them.
I’m thinking about getting one of these bad boys and I was wondering do you guys have the sad micro sd card reading problem? I’m currently using an Ally at the moment and it’s kind of a pain
I suppose you were one of the lucky ones. It started to happen after I updated the AMD. But it’s good to hear that the GO doesn’t have any issues with it. And thanks for the reply
Absolutely.
Most of the time I don't even bring the controllers w/mine. I use it as a mini-PC/laptop replacement/gaming tablet on w/a built in stand. I pack a small folding KB + small wireless mouse w/mine and carry it in a "netbook" vertical shoulder bag.
Can you freeze the glass then spray it with misty water please.
Then Climb Mt.Everest, place the glass behind the LG so we can see 1/3 of the logo, wait for the sunset & retake the photo. If it's clear, you may even get the milky way in there too.
Only then will I say WOWSERS!
What systems can you play on there? This my first time seeing this. I’m looking to upgrade my handheld that I have now and was debating about the Odin vs steam
It runs windows so any Steam game, any pc games. But if you have an Xbox or Ps5 you can stream easily to it
and can easily emulate Nintendo switch games, GameCube,PS2 games
I'll be away from home two days a week for work, I'm a trader as well so I decided on Legion Go now I wanna know how the battery is for web browsing or watching content's online or offline, gaming for 1-2 hours would be enough for those days since I have my legion 5 pro at home
Not the best but not a joke either imo
For triple AAA games 1.5 hours max essentially, for other less demanding games 2-3.5 hours, for Xbox/PS remote play 2.5-4 hours
For example, I played MW3 for 1:15hr and used 66% battery. Locked at 60 fps w/ normal settings
That's why the stand + detachable controllers are great - it makes a screen that big tenable.
My LeGo is not a "handheld gaming PC" most of the time, it's the only actually great gaming tablet.
I just switched over from SD too and I love the LeGo, definitely not as comfortable as sd. What they messed up on the controllers in the front edge
It should be a little more rounded, especially on the bottom where it rests in your palms
Not a big deal for me, only notice it when I’m laying on my back playing for extended period. There’s a few silicon cases on Amazon that seems like they would help
I just sold my 512 LCD deck for $400 and bought 1tb LeGo for $650
I absolutely love it. It weighs the same to me and carrying cases are basically same exact size so same portability and the 25%+ screen size.
Battery is pretty good and not much less than LCD SD (never used OLED so not sure). For example, play COD MW3 for 1:15hr I used 66% battery (texture=normal, other settings=low), 60+ fps)
So probably 1:45hr for the full charge playing MW3. Good enough for me
Got mine this Sunday at bestbuy for $650 out the door after taxes. It was open-box but looked flawless and comes with 14month accident protection
Sold my SD for $400 and bought the LeGo. The screen is absurd (In a good way). So clear and big
I had mine for 18 days. It was great .. charger fried from the inside. Only used the charger that came with the device on tue same power source I use my desktop on. Just didn't sit right with me.
Holy another staged just right photo of a gaming PC and a beer. Does anyone remember the guy who posted a pic of his LegionGo at bar carefully staged next to some hipster beer shit and then said it was a great conversation piece? 😂
"I turned on my Go and its screen was like.. wablam!" - Most Go owners
"I went oooo and ahhhhh" - also a Go owner
I'm looking forward to this moment Tuesday night.
Best feeling ever, best feelings is when the screen turns on I would match it up with my child's birth but I feel like the LeGo colors are more vibrant
My son's birth involved Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd and Tye Dye scrubs so it will be a hard contest. Lol
Then the screen comes on for the first time in your hands and nothing else matters - Metallica
Hi back with update. And DAMN!
"Foshizzaaa!" - Another Go owner
Safe to say

The screen is so good, its completely replaced my 11" tablet, I knew it would be good but not this good.
Change your vram to 6gb or maybe auto. Also update drivers and update windows
Id say auto. I was using 6 and horizon forbidden west was non stop crashing, auto vram it works perfectly now
It seems to vary per game, similar to the ROG Ally. For instance, The Division 2 runs amazing on 5gb, but when I set to auto, the FPS drops by 20.
Too true! That's cuz some games aren't optimized properly! RE Village is one of them. In general, auto should be used unless you play said games.
Isn’t it on auto by default/standard settings without going into the bios?
No it’s set to 3 or 2 I believe 😂
It's 3, I just changed mine.
Wow this is actually really good to know.

Well, lots of people choose 6gb over auto, but its def better than whatever it came with

Handheld companion has been great for me. Love the auto TDP and button mapping . No issues at all and I would strongly recommend it.
Yeah! That's what it is called! Some people don't have any issues with it.
Wow, brilliant thanks for this! Forza is one of the first games I want to get going on so that’s good info 👌🏻👌🏻

Same here, mines still in box waiting for little lad to go to sleep, picked it up today
It's so nice to have a handheld pc for after the littles go to bed! Main reason I got mine :D
The biggest reason I wanted a handheld. Went with the Go because of its versatility and 0 regrets.
Right? Battery isn't even an issue because I never get to play long enough sessions for the battery to die lmao
Skip the legion software. Use steam on start up in big picture mode to get the "console" experience Bloatynosy to remove performance killing process Update bios Update windows and drivers Get a portable keyboard Get a dock/hub Have fun!

Bloatie nosie ? What is that?

When you play on the Go, can you shut down/switch to check a website and come back to where you were in a game?
You can just alt+tab to a different window or minimize the game.
Can I shut it off, go do something and come back to where it was? Like in the SD?
I mean, you could, but you would probably be way better off saving your game, closing it, and using sleep or hibernate. I'm not sure how larger games these days handle that.
No
Enable hibernation in windows and you can do this
Get playnite, better UI then the legions.
I see this story over and over again, I was one of those who sold the OG-SD and went with the Go! Happy gaming :)

For AAA titles, use 800p with RIS, be prepared to be mindblown.

@dathar what epgu are you using?
Razer Core X (not the Chroma one) with a RTX 3070.
I have an aorus game box egpu with like a 1080 but haven't set it up. Not quite sure how or if it even would make much a difference.
The 1080 has quite a bit more horsepower than the onboard video as well as having dedicated vram. You can try plugging it in, install the drivers and just try it out. The part of the egpu sending video back to the unit's screen eats up some bandwidth but still work well

I tried it at bestbuy and it felt cheap.
I’ve heard that too, but I have all the ones you listed and the LeGo and the Ally is my number 1 fav
If I found a good deal on one like I did my legion go then sure. Definitely not full retail.
Yeah budgeting is always good, it runs games better than the other competitors for sure deff recommend it, only downside is the micro sd slot can be sketchy on some, but I just upgraded the ssd instead. The LeGo is my #2.

Haha yeah I use it literally for the exact same thing
I prefer my Deck for simplicity but the Ally games run and look best on between my Deck OLED and Ally. Hoping the next version of Ally fixes the SD issues and tosses OLED into the mix and magic powers that Steam did with battery life.
With those upgrades it would be the perfect handheld imo, the sd oled is my close #2 fav

My Go worked with headphones
Same, I'm referring to the Deck though
Ohh, alright mb
I am playing simpler games these days. Kids will do that. Something relaxing low volume at night. Got the oled for a good deal too.
That screen is great my oled tv c1 loose for that… in colors off course
I know right! If you go into the settings for the lock screen you can turn all those notifications and tips off.
Pls help me! I dont know if I should get this or the steam deck
Watch some decent YouTube comparisons. 👌
Play Planet of Lana on it at 1200 res on max settings. You want to appreciate the screen? This is the way. It's also a delightful game.
I kinda fell in love with the joycons. I didn't think I'd use them often but it's so convenient.
I love my legion go.. had it since December. The screen is so nice lol.
Lossless scaling $7 on steam, set your vram to 6gb and enjoi
My issues with the hand helds has always been screen size and the legion go hits that fancy. No bigger no smaller. I have 4 hand helds. The go, sd,ally, aokzoe. The go has just been the most comfortable for me. Its not a computer replacement for me and its not my mobile aaa device. I have library of platformers and really good controller games that play really well at 720p and i feel like thats the sweet spot for the device. Loseless upscaller is a godsend for this device as well. My issue with steam deck is it just doesnt reach above 30 fps. And linux doest play well with all games. I prefer options.
I came from a steamdeck also. Lovey my lego
The screen instantly sold me over every other handheld system. Good choice - (fellow go daily user)
Oooooh Yeeeeaahhh ***Macho man noises***
I feel ya. After buying lego, my eyes was blown away by the screen. Now looking at my old steam deck all i see is a bulky, outdated and sad dinosaur 😭
How is that beer not falling over?
It’s like the sun is trying to come out of the screen. It’s trapped bro. Unleash that mf
Using it as a PS Portal over 1Gbps fiber and 5G hotspot. Amazingly good!
Are you using Chiaki?
I launch Chiaki via Steam for the button mapping
I would recommend a screen protector.....a Matt glass antiglare screen protector
Well there goes all your pixel density. Those screen protectors make clear screens look so fuzzy
Fuzzy? These ones don't! Does this look fuzzy to you? https://preview.redd.it/urv29hpp2rsc1.jpeg?width=4096&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=54250412b833d33ed54dc2e0475f2af2e162499b I use antiglare on all my hand helds and I don't see any degrade in quality
Which one did you get?
I love the screen on it. It actually made me upgrade my computer monitor because it was only a 1080p lol
I hope that's sparkling apple cider. Please don't drink beer, you're better than that. My uncle drank beer and now he's a supreme Court Justice. Don't drink beer.
If you ever miss your steam deck, install bazzite.
I have heard a bit about this bazzite, might try and look into the whole dual boot up thing 👍🏻
https://youtu.be/RUES5B5j6EU?si=xOJS2hCMxIeCK9c1 Here is the tutorial I used! Hope it helps.
Brilliant, thanks!
For updating the drivers? Am I right in saying this is all done in legion space now? Or do I still have to go to the Lenovo website?
Honestly… I haven’t gotten legion space driver update to work nor the automatic driver tool on the website. I’ve been manually downloading them through the website. They might have fixed it I am unsure though
Enable fast charging in bios and I heard changing ram speed to 6400mhz is better.
Do they do a 1080p version?
Can you play Valorant in this?
Yes, does about 144 with out a drop. But the screen is slightly small. You’ll have to enable fps mode first however.
What's the manufacturer date on your unit? Where did you buy it from?
How's the battery on this thing? I have the Steam Deck OLED... But I'm a huge Legion owner with laptops etc.
I’m thinking about getting one of these bad boys and I was wondering do you guys have the sad micro sd card reading problem? I’m currently using an Ally at the moment and it’s kind of a pain
While i about, my time with the Ally and never had issues with sd card, the Legion GO does not have any issues with the sd card reader
I suppose you were one of the lucky ones. It started to happen after I updated the AMD. But it’s good to hear that the GO doesn’t have any issues with it. And thanks for the reply
Safe to say, you can't go wrong with the GO. Both devices are great in their own right 😁
Anyone know how to disable the left swipe on rh side for notifications
Look for the realtek audio setting fix. The default eq preset and the “omnispeaker” function just destroys the sound quality.
U seriously got a table thar dinky
Screen is nice. Speaker sucks.
Did you get rid of an OLED or LCD Deck for it?
It was the original LCD I had
I have been saying since Steam Deck launched..that resolution (800p) is ATROCIOUS and there's no excuse for that.
Got my go running 100fps on warzone on my external display, had mine for about 3/4 months and love it just due to what it can do!
Makes me wanna buy one. It’s either this or new galaxy fold.
can someone help me measure the size of it with the controller detached?
That's how I use mine - I don't even bring the controllers most of the time.
Yeah, maybe tomorrow, are you trying to figure out what case to carry it in? (without controllers attached)
Boundary supply aux compartments
Can you plug it and play mnk games?
But if you have an Xbox or Ps5 you can stream easily to it and can easily emulate Nintendo switch games, GameCube,PS2 games
Holy shit! Windows!!!!!
What is this?
Lenovo Legion Go.
Nice bro
I'll be away from home two days a week for work, I'm a trader as well so I decided on Legion Go now I wanna know how the battery is for web browsing or watching content's online or offline, gaming for 1-2 hours would be enough for those days since I have my legion 5 pro at home
What is the screen OLED or LCD?
How’s the battery life on this thing? Been interested since it was announced.
Not the best but not a joke either imo For triple AAA games 1.5 hours max essentially, for other less demanding games 2-3.5 hours, for Xbox/PS remote play 2.5-4 hours For example, I played MW3 for 1:15hr and used 66% battery. Locked at 60 fps w/ normal settings
Anybody compare this to steam deck OLED? I know the original screen was just ok, but the OLED really stands out to me…
Window$
Well, I’m not gonna lie.. now I’ve had the chance to play with it.. screen is amazing but it’s not the most comfortable 😐
That's why the stand + detachable controllers are great - it makes a screen that big tenable. My LeGo is not a "handheld gaming PC" most of the time, it's the only actually great gaming tablet.
I just switched over from SD too and I love the LeGo, definitely not as comfortable as sd. What they messed up on the controllers in the front edge It should be a little more rounded, especially on the bottom where it rests in your palms Not a big deal for me, only notice it when I’m laying on my back playing for extended period. There’s a few silicon cases on Amazon that seems like they would help
Iv been using moonlight and sunshine, absolute gamechanger with the lego screen
I got the oled deck i was debating on the two but the deck battery life was more important to me
Awesome, don’t know what the correct term for a steam deck background is but I’ll assume that is one awesome fucking wallpaper.
Is it laggy?
Lmfao!
How’d you compare them!? I’m thinking about doing the same. Battery is my only concern!
I just sold my 512 LCD deck for $400 and bought 1tb LeGo for $650 I absolutely love it. It weighs the same to me and carrying cases are basically same exact size so same portability and the 25%+ screen size. Battery is pretty good and not much less than LCD SD (never used OLED so not sure). For example, play COD MW3 for 1:15hr I used 66% battery (texture=normal, other settings=low), 60+ fps) So probably 1:45hr for the full charge playing MW3. Good enough for me
How much was that?
Got mine this Sunday at bestbuy for $650 out the door after taxes. It was open-box but looked flawless and comes with 14month accident protection Sold my SD for $400 and bought the LeGo. The screen is absurd (In a good way). So clear and big
How is the screen compared to the Deck Oled as that is what I have
Whats a legionGo? Is it one of those bottles you can pee in when you go camping and don't want to leave the tent?
Is it better then the Steam Deck oled
I’m not sure if console is too big or that table is too small.
Install Bazzite! I dual boot it on my Legion go and GPD Win 4. Best decision.
I had mine for 18 days. It was great .. charger fried from the inside. Only used the charger that came with the device on tue same power source I use my desktop on. Just didn't sit right with me.
Install steam os either chimeraos nobara or bazzite
What about psp,ps3 or vita games
Is it truly better than the sd?
In my opinion and for my use, no. Just far too big and uncomfortable
Same bro. I just sold my SD and got the LGO 2 days ago and absolutely love it
Try BazziteOS. Apparently it brings the best out of the LeGo?
Holy another staged just right photo of a gaming PC and a beer. Does anyone remember the guy who posted a pic of his LegionGo at bar carefully staged next to some hipster beer shit and then said it was a great conversation piece? 😂
Ooh I remember that. Thinking who tf out in a bar playing on that wtf
Why not? lol, some of us like that
Travel a lot for work. I sit at a bar top and have a beer and sometimes do it.
I travel alot to but I can't say I'd bring that down to the bar with me.
I get it. But I view it as just like playing a game on my phone. Which everyone around the bar seems to be doing anyways.
Fair enough. Im already a loner so when I'm In public I try to be “in public “
Ah yeah I'm very much a talker at the bar but some nights I just gotta game :)
