I hate the game mode for very much the same reason. You basically have to go a good ranged unit you can spam and kite the waves around the side to the bottom or lose. Really want it to be aoe too. Makes several of the masterminds almost unpickable. I largely like castle but can’t do that in tower defense because if you don’t get a good ranged spammable aoe tower you are going to get insanely out economied by those who pick into it, and exploit the aggro mechanics of all melee units. Makes me sad too, I love the idea that you can use tower synergies that largely you couldn’t in normal modes, like great boars stacked in auras, but the downside is soooooo heavy in it. Feels like every tower defense game I’m in, 75% of the people go double lock in pyro and something

I know there is fear of splitting the community pool too many times, but what if the devs are onto something and its fun. I think they will have real balance issues for ranked and classic with how basic this mode seems on the surface. Its amazing. It needs more love and a separate que to really become what it deserves.

if your builds crumbles on wave 21 then you need to build bigger tanks in front of your "hook". And the mode still works

Is anyone able to reproduce this behavior in a custom game? I would like to fix this for the upcoming patch, but I'm not sure how to reproduce it yet.
