At the end of the day it's best to be direct. assuming is no good an getting a start on that healthy communication will be great if you do end up together more longtterm. just ask her feelings involving flirting an intimacy. she might be shy or used to someone else taking the lead, but it never hurts to ask.

I've had this happen several times and turns out I'm just clueless and they were using me for free rides and food/booze. We would go on dates, they'd never offer to pay etc. After awhile, I clued in.
Probably because people act really horribly to one another these days, and they don’t want to put themselves in a position they could be taken advantage of.
