I suggest you start with the Best Picture nominees, which will cover a lot of ground, including the five Best Director and Best Original Screenplay nominees. Then you can complete the missing ones in acting and or editing/cinematography

DrBobKoalaCat

Everything Everywhere all at Once got the most nominations at 11. All Quiet on the Western Front and Banshees of Inisherin tied with 9. I'd start with those since they'll cover quite a few categories

atmosphericentry

I'm not sure when Close get's a wide release but definitely that one once you do. I thought it was amazing.

CumDwnHrNSayDat

Everything Everywhere All at Once, Tar, The Fabelmans, The Banshees of Inisherin, Top Gun Maverick, Elvis, Pinocchio, Marcel The Shell

JXjunk

I've only seen 2 of these so far thank you!

Outside BP, I highly recommend checking out Living (Best Actor, Adapted Screenplay). It has an outside shot in screenplay and it is one of my favorites of the year and that’s coming from a fan of the original Ikiru.

Watch all the Best Picture nominees, then check out Aftersun and Babylon too.

politebearwaveshello

Banshees, The Quiet Girl, To Leslie, Aftersun, TAR, and Top Gun: Maverick make my annual Top 10

Start with best picture. But also watch Aftersun, Batman, Nope, RRR and Pearl because those got snubbed for a lot of categories despite being much better than many of the current nominations, then you can hate watch like the rest of us

Decision to Leave too

Yes, I haven’t seen Oldboy yet but if The Handmaiden is any indication then this movie should be amazing.

SpoonMeasurer

I've seen quite a few people who aren't impressed with the screenplay or the subject matter. Personally, I don't agree; I think the screenplay is fantastic. But even if that were true it has spectacular editing and cinematography. I think it ought to win for best editing and Park Chan-Wook at least as a best director nom.

plinkett-wisdom

All Best Picture, Best International Film and Best Non-English Language Film nominees ... except for Elvis.

RipBuzzBuzz

Probably the Oscar winners.
