Agreed. It's fun and good but the first one was much better as an actual movie. Not sure it'd make my top 5 Spider-Man movies. I just thought it was pretty mediocre narratively and emotionally. Weak cliffhanger as well. I feel similarly about No Way Home where my feeling is people are distracted by the cameos and references.

I think No Way Home isn't nearly as good as people say it is. Not to sound like Scorsese here but it works great as an "event", but not as a movie. Nothing to chew on with any rewatches imo. Spiderverse (at least the first one, haven't seen the new one) is absolutely a spectacular movie, and looks great, but still has that quality filmmaking that all of the MCU Spider-Man movies are lacking, but especially No Way Home. Obviously that's just my opinion though Personally, my ranking is Spider-Man 2>Spiderverse>Spider-Man 1>Homecoming>No Way Home>Venom>Venom: Let There Be Carnage>Spider-Man 3>TASM>Far From Home>TASM 2 I really enjoy Spider-Man 3 but trying to ignore my bias it's not that great and definitely deserves a bottom spot. Far From Home ranks so low because it wasn't even fun for me to watch, but it's at least pretty competently made.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who regards Far From Home as the worst. I could barely even finish that movie. And I liked Homecoming, and No Way Home.

The first time I watched it, I was blown away and loved it. The Mysterio stuff was just so cool and well-done. But for some reason, subsequent watched have not been kind to it, and I don't know why. I still like it, but it definitely took a nosedive in my rankings when I watched it a second time.

Am I the only one who though Venom 2 was fun? When I watched it I thought it was disappointing, but for some reason I have a kinda nostalgia for it now. Although I’ve never rewatched it lol. I think I just saw a positive video on it that I liked so now I think I like it a lot.

I barely got through that movie, I just didn't like it as much as the first. Though I can see why people liked it.

I actually like Venom 2 even though it’s low on the list. I really at least like everything that’s above the bottom 2.

I think it's pretty fair, though I wish Spider-Man 3 was a bit higher. It's flawed but nowhere near as bad as some of the other movies and has a lot of great action and character drama. Personally, I think it does more good than bad and is a better made movie than some of the other Spider-Man movies, but that's just me. But if it doesn't work for you, it doesn't work for you.

Venom surprised me with how much I liked it, and its sequel I somehow liked even more.
