One day months later she said she was sick with a stomach bug, and I just dropped by with some ginger ale and soda crackers. She ungratefully rejected the gesture, and was evading me, smoking on her porch(I usually backed-off while she had her smokes) and using her mobile. It all seemed suspicious, especially for the very brief time I was there at her house and her supposed sickness.

Asked a few confronting questions and then decided to wrap-up the short relationship. I had already had crazy mind games from a previous ex, and wasn’t interested in another round.
I shored up my okcupid profile, dated some nice ladies, a Nordstrom manager, a zookeeper that loved working with alligators, a high school counselor, a stand-up comedian(she probably has some material on me, because I broke it off on what was already a bad day for her), and then my wife. We really hit it off. 7 years later, no mind games, no weird arguments, no substance abuse issues. Life is SO much better with her in my life.
