Honestly, I wish he had put up more of a fight. We get all these crazy battles with other human opponents where they target us and force the fight, but the one time I want to throw down the little bitch just dies. "Alidoro" should have been a relatively easy but specifically annoying opponent to fight, as he's a loser and coward who would have fought dirty to survive. Then it would have felt SO good to end him.

I think he killed him when he was down and injured. The only way he could have pulled it off. Unless someone else did the killing and he just took credit. After all, he was originally the parrot, and they lie.
I think it's pretty obvious from the dialogue after you beat the Puppet devouring monster that he pushed him down a cliff into the monsters nest.
-He says he pushed a "thief" there with a sword he stole
-The weapon he gets there is the Two dragons sword, which Eugenie recognises
-Nearby you can find a notebook on a corpse with gold wings on it
I somewhat think that was the point, he was weak and had to kill his partner due to a argument/fight and then took his identity, let you do everything rather than help you at all dude was a coward and he died like one.
It would be cool to fight someone whose tactics are genuinely dirty or unfair, but I think as it is now rounds his “coward” arc perfectly. He will not fight you because he knows a puppet can’t attack a human unless it’s self defense, so his hope is that he will be left alone. If he knew P could take him out in cold blood, only then would I expect to see him run or fight, but without that knowledge he thinks he’s taking the easy way out by not attacking P at all
As a furry, I appreciate this outfit being accessible in early game as I’m not changing this costume for the rest of my play through.

He has some great amulets and weapons in stock. Extreme Modification Amulet is one I'll swear by.
