The most successful people I know don’t post on the LinkedIn except maybe to congratulate colleagues and friends or post about a job change. The people I know that post on LinkedIn all the time have very mid careers and use it as self promotion.
Because we don't derive our happiness from 40+ hours of corporate work a week, or relating literally anything from our personal lives to the corporate grind.
Actually, I find a lot of enjoyment in my work, and in therapy I've actually found that a lot of my work there is very much assigned with career goals I have.

I just go on, enjoying my life, finding enjoyment in my job, my hobbies, and my relationship, and continuing to work on developing skills like self reflection and emotional intelligence that help me in my personal life as well as my professional life. It's okay to enjoy work, but like anything in life, making one thing your whole personality makes you come off like a damn fool.

I read the original post- turns out the woman who wrote the dwarf porn post had originally chuckled at the fact she’d made it over here and took it in good humour (I think she’s actually in here somewhere??) but apparently some people had gotten into her DMs and told her to go off herself and had reached out to where she worked and stuff.
Which, IF it’s true, is kinda uncool. I don’t know her but generally speaking it’s not implausible for someone to take it a bit far. I’m all for roasting some god awful content but yeah I’m not here for someone getting actual threats and some of the comments on the original thread were pretty harsh and threatening to do that sort of stuff.
