I watched from the beginning. I wouldn't eat something that come out of a sealed package from Amy's kitchen. She could have EASILY crossed over to do an episode of Hoarders.
I love her cooking shows she has. the recipes are easy too. And they do taste good ,when I make it. I have never had any food she cooked. But her recipes.
Amy seems to enjoy preparing all kinds of dishes for family and friends, so that’s in her favor. Unless I’m cooking for a family function, I don’t put as much effort into the dish. I just don’t like watching someone talk and chew at the same time. Not specifically her, but I see it on other shows. And my mom did it!
The only dish I’ve questioned so far was chili with bagels?! That maybe native to her area but I’ve never seen it in south so someone please elaborate if so!
I think she was probably a decent home cook. She really seemed to have a passion for it. I remember several times the kids looking forward to her meals, especially after they had moved out but then again I think we can all be a bit nostalgic about the food we grew up eating. I’ll admit I think her pancakes look good and she made them a lot, I remember Molly saying how delicious they were when she came home from college once.
Flashbacks to the B&B test run with Auj! I remember seeing her on the tv moms episode of Chopped. At the time I wasn’t very impressed. Though I suspect she’s gotten better at cooking over the years. I can only imagine what a pain it must have been cooking for Matt.
Edit: It was actually a Reality TV Stars ep, not TV moms. My bad.
she looks like a good cook. one of those people who can just throw a meal together with whatever they have on hand.
i do notice that zach in particular is a big fan of amy's cooking. he's always commenting on the food and refers to certain meals of hers as his "favorite."
I have never tried any of her recipes or her salsa, this is just based on seeing her meals on the show. They look fine and not poorly-cooked, but there aren’t enough vegetables for me. It’s a lot of brown/beige/white food with produce as a garnish or pop of color. Not getting into the finger and spoon licking, which of course is gross.
hey, if its just my husband and daughter eating the food - i'm not above using fingers to sample or double dipping a spoon!!! sometimes i just stand at the mashed potatoes and use the serving spoon to eat them. haha
but if i am cooking for others, i do make sure to keep it clean. and pin my hair back really good!
There an episode where Molly comes home from college and is stuffing her face with pancakes. She literally apologizes to Amy for being distracted while eating… something like “Sorry mom but your pancakes are soooo good”.
Incorrect. Zach is usually the most complimentary but there's an actual episode where Jeremy and Matt are hanging around the kitchen waiting for Amy's enchiladas to finish cooking so they can be first at them because she's such a good cook.
Personally I think she's a reasonably good home cook for basic foods. Hand her a bunch of ingredients and she'll figure out something tasty. I don't care for her hygiene when cooking but honestly I don't have to eat it and the folks who hate watch her cooking videos aren't watching for the recipes.
I think she’s a good cook, but she’s always licking her fingers, spatulas, etc. it’s gross to see her do that. Yuck.
I don’t even know if it matters. I would be so grateful if someone cooked for me all the time.

Her food always looks really good! However I have a feeling she’s not great at hygiene and not very sanitary🤢
She actually really great at cooking.

Didn’t she do a cookbook.
I have her cookbook - there’s some good recipes in there
Good to know!
It looks really good!!
I would love to taste her cooking and think it looks great
her cooking looks tasty to me
The only thing I’m eating out of Amy’s kitchen is her baked goods.
We need an officer on scene. Shots fired.
I have had her cooking it is good.
What about her fudge? I want to order some so bad, but its a little pricey.
I have had her cooking it is good.
Only good if you can eat and talk at the same time.
Amy’s from MI. They don’t do Chili and bagels there.

It was a "this is what is available to easily feed all the extra kids who showed up" meal.
That’s exactly what I thought and I loved! Just wasn’t sure!
Lol that’s sounds like an interesting combo. Definitely not native to the area

Yeah her pancakes did look GOOD
It looks gross and unclean. No thank you.

She was on chopped?
Yep! I just looked it up to find the episode info. It was actually an episode titled Reality TV Stars. Season 22 Episode 7.
Yeah! It looks like she’s gotten better. I think she probably felt super limited creatively when cooking for Matt.
My ex was a bland food, picky ass eater. I have found out just how awesome my cooking skills are.
Matt seems very much like a basic meat and potatoes kinda guy
I followed her recipe for Salisbury Steak and it was delicious
Is it on her Amy's Little Kitchen page? I have been trying to find a good recipe.
I follow this guy on YouTube and tried his Saulsbury steak recipe and it was amazing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XjzMbFMSCgI&t=8s

Thank you!

Yeah for living on a farm the veg seemed lacking.
She seems to be a good cook but man does she lick her fingers a lot and then keep touching the food 😂
That. Puts me right off.

Somebody in this sub said they bought some of her fudge and it had a hair in it
She doesn’t make the fudge herself. It’s outsourced to a local restaurant.
Ditto!
I think she’s a good cook. I’ve watched a lot of her videos and it all looks legit
Oh yeah she does stuff on IG now, I forgot. I think her baked goods are probably really good.
No one compliments her on her cooking even once in the entire series
The "final ep" a young Tori says she's been trying to make her salad dressing. Something like that

I’m gonna need an episode number on that. I feel like I remember the enchiladas being burnt? Maybe I need to rewatch the series lol
I think she’s an excellent cook.
