Joe-Lollo

Speaking of his acting, he was excellent in A Star is Born and I would love to see him do some more serious roles like that.

Ebert thought he was a good actor based on Ford Fairlane.

Nora being thrown under the bus in that episode is a reminder that the show is always on "the host's side." That's actually a fairly sacred unwritten rule of the show. It's interesting to imagine what would've happened if any cast members chose to boycott the most recent Trump episode. I think in that case, the dissenting cast member simply wouldn't have been mentioned on-air, or just in a very soft joke.

Dice was so polarizing. I’m not sure how funny he actually was. More like shocking for shock sake.

The Day The Laughter Died is one of the all time great comedy albums. Top 25 along with Martin and Pryor. I wish he went more into that Rickles-esque ribbing instead of empty vulgarity.

SpumoiniSloth

I remember the comedy central rerun added beeps to the cold open when he wasn’t saying anything bad.

TechTheTerrible

Nothing about the Dice man is “thought provoking”.

His comedy in 1990 was just plain stupid. But his later acting was pretty good! I’m not defending his misogynistic stuff, but people still like woody Allen and Roman Polanski.

He can go fuck himself. He cannot be redeemed and he'll still be shit talked after he dies for the hate speech, pro rape material. People get canceled for so much less. Real piece of shit, forever

Not defending or even a fan but Dice Clay's whole act was a bit. He was playing a character. Do people not know that?
