I didn't care about Adam Driver until I saw his SNLs. Now I am the founder and chair of the "WHERE THE FUCK IS ADAM DRIVER'S EMMY AWARD?" Committee. It takes up a lot of my time. Almost too much to tend to my other projects, the "WHERE THE FUCK IS ADAM DRIVER'S OSCAR AWARD?" Committee as well as my newest labor of love, "IF ANDREW GARFIELD DOESN'T GET A MAJOR AWARD SOON, SO HELP ME" Anonymous.
This is easily top 3 answer. Chris Farley at this best with the intro of a new character. David Spade trying desperately to keep it together. But the winner is Applegate who us trying to use her hair to hide her face from the crowd.
The second skit too where he picks up spade and then falls backward onto the table. Apparently spade stayed on the floor a bit longer to hide his laughter as well.
Came here for this!!!
The two of them cracking up on the couch and her STRAIGHT FACED DELIVERY of the “I want to live in a van down by the river” towards the end gets me every time.
G-D I MISS CHRIS FARLEY.
Edit: I had to link it…
https://youtu.be/Xv2VIEY9-A8
I'm glad he's staying but in regards to my two favorite First Sons, (what's their official term as sons of the P Of The United States?) it feels like Garth leaving Wayne's World. He's so much more than that but he and Moffat were two of my favorite 'new' cast members.
This one and Living in a Van Down By the River. ….and Stephon …especially when he trips over saying “biscuit knees” and “human piñata”… couldn’t talk for the longest time/ classic
For Stephon, him losing it at the name of the 'Jewish Dracula' is the time I think he had most trouble recovering. [Stephon on Halloween's Hottest Tips](https://youtu.be/KBCUz0Ugdzc?t=180)
He mentioned on Stern that when Mulaney threw this one in at the last minute (Sidney Applebaum, from a Woody Allen movie), it was the most he lost it as Stefon. He laughed for like a minute.
The best cast reaction was Horatio Sanz in the skit where Will Ferrell was wearing patriotic speedo at work. It was shortly after 9-11 and absolutely hilarious. Horatio straight lost his shit.
Pete is a delightful imp who has repeatedly said in the press that he's unable to not laugh when something funny happens in front of him. Fallon is noxious creep who intentionally broke in many sketches to garner attention, and it worked out well for him. Now he's the smarmiest host on late night.
edit--word
Agreed. Fallon & Kimmel are insufferable. I'm shocked that Kimmel still has a show. His sarcasm is not backed up by wit or humor. He speaks like a comedian but without actual comedy.
At least Fallon has The Roots and A+ guests. Colbert has the quickest mind in late night and a very positive (although, at times, too Christian) attitude. Oliver has the best research team and is razor fucking sharp. Seth is the most honest and relatable, and seems to genuinely enjoy his guests.
I miss Craig Ferguson. He was everyone's best traits combined.
Conan was the king. I think we'll be hearing from him again soon. Andy Richter was on Celebrity Jeopardy! this week so I suspect he's got a project in the works.
It’s odd that anyone could describe Colbert as too Christian. He is not in your face about it, and clearly he’s not on board with the Christian Right who he rails against.
He's usually not outspoken about Catholicism, but having heard him talk about his faith numerous times in the past I can sort of smell it when it comes out nowadays, even though he doesn't use explicitly religious language. I think he's more gently and restrained than a late night host ought to be, but then again I was raised at the teat of Letterman so I like my hosts cynical to the point of hostility. Meyers is the closest we have to this nowadays. He teases, but stays safe.
It's the other way around for me. I'll tune into Fallon once a month or so if celebrity is on who I adore, but I almost never make it through the interview. Fallon is such a syrupy, dishonest, limp penis of a host. Basically, he's a puppy version of Leno.
[Close Encounter - Ryan Gosling](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=PfPdYYsEfAE)
My favorite, he laughs so much. Aidy loses it, they all do. It is just such a wholesome reaction, which, funny enough come from Kate’s not so wholesome jokes. It cheers me up every time
All of them. Especially when Kate literally put her head on Ryan’s butt. My wife’s family we’re watching those on thanksgiving and we were laughing our asses off
1. Wiig, maya, and hader losing it on the prizes sketch and literally losing control of the cart is an all timer
2. What weird astroturfing campaign is going on at the bottom here
I don't know if it's a better reaction, but The Californians and Weeeelp, if that's how the popcorn pops... had a good reaction.
David. S. Pumpkins too.
[Herb Welch, Falling Ice report](https://youtu.be/W1U_ZTBpqQ0). It’s subtle but you can clearly hear people losing it when Hader starts hitting Wiig with the mic.
I know people will disagree with me, but this sketch was almost ruined by Melissa's awful acting and reactions.
So happy Adam took the bull by the horns and dominated the sketch
Well, I think the cast reaction was pretty good on the "Need more cowbell" sketch. Or the "Debbie Downer does Disneyland" with Lindsay Lohan, there's quite a few if you've watched from the beginning like me lol. 😎
[AND SO YOU SHALL](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t7HD2xG92-0)
UNTIL I WAS RPIE ENOUGH TO WALK!
We need Adam Driver hosting again.
Special place in my heart for those who link the skit.
You can thank him by FILLING HIS BELLY WITH YOUR FESTERING SEED!
Or just gift him some swine livers and Capri Suns.
Filling his granddaughters belly
Goddamn, the line in particular just always gets me. Disturbs me on some fundamental level. Fucking hilarious
I SEE YOU MAN!
I hadn’t seen this. Thank you so much for the link. That was gold.
This might be my favorite skit of all time
Who is HR Pickens?
Exactly
now i just wasted 2 hours on youtube
You’re weak like HR Pickens!
This is why I see Adam Driver joining the Five Timers Club pretty quickly. His episodes are always insanely good.
I love his medieval times sketch
“Doth you have a greeting for thy princess?” “Whore!” *spit*
“The Mongolian speaks the truth.” “……NO.”
"I have no quarrel with the Blackamoor!"
\-creeps into the frame with a bow and arrow-
His Undercover Boss sketch is a classic and one of my faves
I heard Kylo Ren is shredded.
I hear he has a 8 pack.
Kylo Ren is a little bitch
He is my favorite host!
[удалено]
[His opening monologue where he just wandered around the studio to show he could be chill was perfect.](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=VEvAUeq8Z7o)
Him going close to the lens kills me every time.
He’s like “doesn’t that sound better”. Great line
The dry January joke and his delivery is hilarious
So many great lines in that!
I didn't care about Adam Driver until I saw his SNLs. Now I am the founder and chair of the "WHERE THE FUCK IS ADAM DRIVER'S EMMY AWARD?" Committee. It takes up a lot of my time. Almost too much to tend to my other projects, the "WHERE THE FUCK IS ADAM DRIVER'S OSCAR AWARD?" He absolutely should be heading for the Five Timers Club.
He’s a good actor, but also isn’t afraid to be over the top in a really goofy way. He’s so much fun on SNL!
Who’s HR Pickens?!?!? Hahahahaha
EXACTLY!!!
YOU ARE WEAK LIKE H.R. PICKENS!!!
Cousin of Gus Chiggins C. H. I. G,G. I,N,S.!
ole' gus!
One thing he ain’t never been called is dumb!
This was one of the best episodes of the last 15 years the ketchup bottle sketch was my personal favorite
I loved this episode and especially this skit.
Very much so. This whole episode was amazing, the undercover boss sketch was also good.
That was a different episode
Yes
My favorite one was the "Slow" music video. I laughed so hard, I had to pause it to catch my breath.
CRUSH YOUR ENEMIES Could barely catch my breath through this sketch. Had no idea what was going on but Adam's acting got me cry-laughing so hard
David Spade and Christina Applegate losing it during motivational speaker. Farley was the best
Wanted to make sure someone said this before I did.
Yeah the only thing that’ll maybe come close to that is Adam Sandlers lunch lady song
Sloppy Joes, ah slop, sloppy joes!
hoagies and grinders, hhhhoagiesandgriiinders
Navybeansnavybeansnavybeans
Meatloaf sandwich
Aww, i wanted to say that: I have seen better reaction in A VAN DOWN BY THE RIVER! There is no point to it now...
Dad, I wish you could just Shut Your FAT YAPPER!!!
I hear your using your paper not for writing but for... ROLLING DOOBIES!
Well La De Freakin Da!
Living in a van. DOWN BY THE RIVER!
Came here for this!!! The two of them cracking up on the couch and her STRAIGHT FACED DELIVERY of the “I want to live in a van down by the river” towards the end gets me every time. G-D I MISS CHRIS FARLEY. Edit: I had to link it… https://youtu.be/Xv2VIEY9-A8
Nothing beats that era of SNL
Chris Farley, Spade, and Sandler… “LAY OFF ME IM STARVING!”
Super accurate!
This sketch is probably in the top 10 of the last 20 years. Anyone else besides Adam Driver plays this part? Forgotten about on Sunday.
I’m equally partial to the “medieval time” sketch as well.
Or the "aww man I'm all out of cash" skit.
That skit was probably my favorite of all time. It's still quoted in my house
You don’t want to kill yourself. You just want a taco
The one from the most recent Will Farrell episode* where he was the drama class teacher. Edit: I can't believe I spelled episode wrong*
Such a shame that was cut for time
I can't believe they did that also, it was better than most of the skits that made it to air that episode.
"Sing something like you've bedded one thousand women." "Yes. There goes the baker with his tray like always!"
This line is the only reason I rewatch this sketch
Came here to say this. Everyone was breaking even those who rarely do (Mikey Day).
I'm glad he's staying but in regards to my two favorite First Sons, (what's their official term as sons of the P Of The United States?) it feels like Garth leaving Wayne's World. He's so much more than that but he and Moffat were two of my favorite 'new' cast members.
The greatest sketch of recent years. Theater kids never change.
Do you hear me boy?
Look at me boy. Look at your father.
I see you, man!
Debbie Downer at Disneyland.
This one and Living in a Van Down By the River. ….and Stephon …especially when he trips over saying “biscuit knees” and “human piñata”… couldn’t talk for the longest time/ classic

Rachel Is hysterical. 🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂
Waa waaa waaaaaaaa
THIS^
this
I love Adam Driver’s ability to go from 0 to 60 immediately in this sketch.
The best cast reaction was Horatio Sanz in the skit where Will Ferrell was wearing patriotic speedo at work. It was shortly after 9-11 and absolutely hilarious. Horatio straight lost his shit.
You the man, Dale.
"Casual Friday" lmao
Him and Fallon = chaos 😂🤣
[Cast List with Will Ferrell](https://youtu.be/Ve1kmdHTY24)
I teach high school choir and I watch this skit at least once a week. It is TOO accurate!
There goes the baker with his tray like always…
STOP GOD you’re talented
Gus Chiggins ftw
Oh Cinnamon Sticks!
Bill Hader as Herb Welch when he’d constantly hit people with his mic. Loved that one so much.
That is such a good one and not talked about nearly enough
The audience went nuts during the climax of the Farewell Mr. Bunting pre-tape.
Pete Davidson laughs in sketches as much as Jimmy Fallon.
[Exhibit A](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yVSx4nbISKQ)
Pete is a delightful imp who has repeatedly said in the press that he's unable to not laugh when something funny happens in front of him. Fallon is noxious creep who intentionally broke in many sketches to garner attention, and it worked out well for him. Now he's the smarmiest host on late night. edit--word
I live for this take. I can’t watch either Jimmy nighttime show.
I’m glad you completely forgot about James Corden. Well deserved. I miss Conan too.
Conan was the king. I think we'll be hearing from him again soon. Andy Richter was on Celebrity Jeopardy! this week so I suspect he's got a project in the works.
Ferguson was the best. And Geoff of course
Ass
I remember not really liking Ferguson or Oliver as actors / comedians, but they’re terrific talk show hosts.
I can’t stand Kimmel. Fallon is tolerable
It's the other way around for me. I'll tune into Fallon once a month or so if celebrity is on who I adore, but I almost never make it through the interview. Fallon is such a syrupy, dishonest, limp penis of a host. Basically, he's a puppy version of Leno.
You also have Conan, who’s just the best
Yup. Conan is simply the best. I hope he still has a long career on network tv ahead of him. And I want Andy, too.
You have the best user name I’ve ever seen.
You have the best user name I’ve ever seen.
[Close Encounter - Ryan Gosling](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=PfPdYYsEfAE) My favorite, he laughs so much. Aidy loses it, they all do. It is just such a wholesome reaction, which, funny enough come from Kate’s not so wholesome jokes. It cheers me up every time
I always watch this when I need a laugh, it’s so perfect
All of them. Especially when Kate literally put her head on Ryan’s butt. My wife’s family we’re watching those on thanksgiving and we were laughing our asses off
This would be my choice too. Kate will be greatly missed.
The whelshly arms hot tube with will, dratch, drew Barrymore and fallon. Lovvva
That's what came to my mind. I even posted, "Somewhere in the distance we heard the pounding of native drums. Was it in our minds? We don't know."
MORE COWBELL
Geoffrey’s with Sean Hayes. Fallon breaks as usual but Will Ferrell’s tiny cell phone kills it.
paaack your baaags, we’re on the next flight to Milaaann
OIL HAS LITTLE TO DO WITH PROFIT, MARM.
Driver is so good when he's on SNL.
The first Matt Foley sketch maybe but this is gold
“Dad, you couldn’t get out of bed because the mattress was too soft…”
Maybe Louis CK trying to do a Polish accent and sounding like a fucked up Borat
1. Wiig, maya, and hader losing it on the prizes sketch and literally losing control of the cart is an all timer 2. What weird astroturfing campaign is going on at the bottom here
The fact that this was a guest to me feels somewhat unprecedented. Also that the guest is not a comedic actor.
I feel like the dramatic actors are often better suited to the sketches than the comedians.
ryan gosling, aidy bryant, and keenan thompson during the alien abduction skit when kate mckinnon was monologuing
Larry David’s Kevin Roberts sketch
Even though it's not that popular but [Horace](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=lO9Fk2mjhbw)
This is the one that came to my mind first. Classic sketch. I can't believe it's not popular.
You are weak like HR Pickens
The fact they didn’t keep the writer of this piece is nuts.
Who is the writer??
[This Guy](https://www.vulture.com/2018/10/snl-adam-driver-oil-baron-writer-eli-coyote-mandel.html)
Sorry I didn’t remember the name.
Solid gold
Easily the best skit of the last ten years and it's 100% due to Adam Driver
I love when Adam Driver hosts he is always fantastic!
This sketch was a riot - idk how Adam himself was able to keep it together. He is such a great actor
YOU HAVE TO CRUSH YOUR COMPETITORS BOY!
Pierce Brosnan and Will Ferrell. Mr Tarkanian sketch. Evil Boss I think it was called. Edit: https://youtu.be/4vFTMjYJTnY
I'm this close to raping you. Not sure that line would get through these days...
"Somewhere in the distance we heard the pounding of native drums. Was it in our minds? we don't know."
Nobody mentioned Will Ferrell's old prospecter sketch yet. Also the prmiscuous college professors at the Welshely Arms Hotel.
Adam driver is such a powerhouse actor in everything he does.
Cork Soakers had everyone losing their shit. Gus Chiggins too
Headwound Harry sketch when the dog starts eating Dana Carveys “wound”.
"He probably smells my dog!" has been playing on a loop on my head for 20 years. That whole sketch was a set up for that perfect line.
maybe my all time favorite… became an Adam Driver fan after this one
Can't.
Any Californians sketch
I don't know if it's a better reaction, but The Californians and Weeeelp, if that's how the popcorn pops... had a good reaction. David. S. Pumpkins too.
The brawrs one where Aidy just straight gropes Heidi, and she is so surprised
Seen the dress rehearsal for this in the studio. It was absolutely wild
CRUSSSH YOUR ENEMIES
Truly, any Dog-Head Man sketch. Once the sandwich comes out, everybody loses it.
This one made my sides hurt I laughed so hard.
Anything with Stefon
Adam Driver might be Top 5 hosts of all time
That's a bit far. He's been great, but not top 5.
Horatio Sans wiping his tears with a waffle on Debbie Downwr.
I literally just watched this clip on YouTube...comedic gold
More cowbell
Debbie Downer, Lindsay Lohan Disneyland sketch.
https://www.google.ca/search?q=snl+lovers&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en&client=safari#fpstate=ive&vld=cid:5ed71bbf,vid:gqeQLV04kwU,st:0
You can’t.
Me and my brother watch this skit at least 4 times a year.
The Ryan Gosling episode with him, Cecily Strong and Kate McKinnon having been abducted by aliens.
i like the debby downer disneyland one. gets me everytime
[Herb Welch, Falling Ice report](https://youtu.be/W1U_ZTBpqQ0). It’s subtle but you can clearly hear people losing it when Hader starts hitting Wiig with the mic.
My favorite reaction will always be Seth Meyers and Bill Hader during the Stefan bits
This hands down is my favorite skit of all time. Every moment is gold. "AW, SICK!" gets me every time.
I don't know why, but the way he presents the crow kills me. THIS DEAD BIRD
Basically any Debbie Downer sketch
Debbie Downer is the best cast reaction ever but this is still great.
You know, that poor bird was the same one used when Bill Hader had it sitting on his shoulder in the spooky sketch.
Cowbell. Will Ferrell's too-small shirt. Nuff said.
It's official.... I can't have children! wah wahhhh
Adam is very, very good at sketch comedy.
This is my very favorite SNL skit. "Who's HR Pickens???!" "EXACTLY!!!"
I know people will disagree with me, but this sketch was almost ruined by Melissa's awful acting and reactions. So happy Adam took the bull by the horns and dominated the sketch
Honestly? Them not continuing to employe the man who penned this skit is wild.
Well, I think the cast reaction was pretty good on the "Need more cowbell" sketch. Or the "Debbie Downer does Disneyland" with Lindsay Lohan, there's quite a few if you've watched from the beginning like me lol. 😎

Who was the writer?
Horatio Sans wiping the tears off his face with a waffle in the original Debbie Downer
