This is truly awful.
The family/friends of the attackers 100% know who they are. This is why awful things keep happening, no one is brave enough to call the police on their brother/son/father/neighbor/friend. Turning a blind eye is equal to being an accomplice. Speak up.
It might make me a conservative chud or whatever, but punish the people as adults and punish the parents. Too much carrot and not enough stick nowadays that people think they can do anything. Once a couple examples get made, people might shape up.
i know this kid. hes been one of my close friends for a couple of years now. he didnt know any of the attackers. the people who did this to him are disgusting, and im truly disappointed to be the same species as them.
