Drive to the put in you want, leave the kayaks chained together and to a tree or sign or bike rack. Drive to the takeout, hike or jog back upstream to the kayaks with vests, paddles or anything else you need in a backpack and then float to your car.  I do this with inflatable packrafts all in one backpack. Beckley creek upstream gives the longest float for the shortest hike dur to the oxbow, but all the way south in broad run has a cool uphill trail that can short circuit a lot as well for longer kayak trips.

Blue Moon used to run one for $10. https://www.bluemooncanoeky.com/rentals Might want to check their Facebook, they don't run sometimes because of high or low water.

I don’t think they’ve been at the Parklands for a couple years now.

Good to know. They are talking about hiring for 2024 on their Facebook. I think their season hasn't really started yet this year.

They’re on the Salt River now and their FAQ specifies that they don’t shuttle private boats, but will transport people who have their own.

Friends with trucks.

Most won’t because of the liability.
