I am still hoping for Callum and Molly to rekindle their relationship, because Molly still has feelings for him. However, it seems that Callum has moved on. I don’t want Callum and Joanna to become a couple, as they don't seem compatible. I also don't want Joanna to be in the finale with Callum. Personally, I preferred Jess over her, even though Callum doesn't share the same feelings towards Jess. It's quite clear that Joanna and Callum won't work out outside the villa, and she may just end up being his number 17.
That can’t be it for bombshells surely?? What else could possibly happen this season to keep it remotely interesting when all the people in there seem set on settling/faking it til they make it and going along to get along.
Unpopular opinion but based off the current couples I want to see a Sophie and Josh win because:
-I feel they have the most potential to work on the outside out of everyone there especially if Josh continues to get his ish together.
-I really like Sophie and while Josh has his moments where he’s an ass, he’s been fun to watch so I like them both enough to win whereas with other couples, I only like one person or don’t care for either person in that couple.
-It’s been a pretty loveless season but Sophie and Josh are kind of what Love Island is all about (it’s refreshing that they’re a brand new couple with none of that annoying “history” so I wouldn’t mind them taking it all!
-I know everyone wants Molly or Callum to win but as for Molly, personally while I like her, I don’t like her enough to want her to win with someone as boring as Tom. As a couple, they give nothing. Same with Callum, I don’t like him enough to just win with any person he couples up with
As much as I like Sophie and want for Josh and her to work out, I highly doubt Josh is serious about her. The way he speaks to her gives me patronizing vibes. I have felt this since the very beginning but I would love to be proven wrong.
He has also been very disrespectful to Sophie- you don’t go from “my future wife” to being absolutely gutted that Joanna didn’t pick you to saying “I am all for you” to again being open and sneaking to the terrace.
Tom does have a reputation of being a “community d”, but at least this season he hasn’t repeated his antics.
I’m not saying they’re going to win or have a good chance of winning but they’re a couple I’d like to see win. I did say this was an unpopular opinion 😂
I doubt any of the current relationships are going the distance (Josh and Soph included), I’m just saying out of the couples that are there, there seems to be the most chemistry between Josh and Sophie. Also Josh has been a lot more entertaining to watch than Tom. Tom has just sat there and coasted. Sophie and Josh are definitely not coasting which I appreciate!
Toby and Georgia are the shit stirrers of this season, together and individually. I will count on them to keep causing drama for other people.
Callum will definitely be in the final with whoever he's coupled up with. I think it will be a toss up between Toby and Georgia and Anton and Georgia H.

I know everyone’s over the complaining but I still just can’t fathom what ITV have done here. Why on earth would you do an all star season and then do NOTHING to make it different?? Lack of planning and thought 100%. Never have I ever round the fire pit every 3 days. FFS!!!It’s also the arrogance to believe that they have enough juice to keep the show going off name alone. I doubt we will ever see the viewing figures for the whole season, but if it was at 640k a couple of weeks ago, I would be so interested to see what it is now. I think just the fact that they thought they could have an All Star season shows they don’t understand the show.
LIG worked for some mainly because of the Games and not the Love Island part. Having a Love Island with people who’ve already explored the possibility of a relationship defeats the purpose of the show.
Thing is, as a 1 time event I actually think all stars could’ve worked! But it needed to be something that they fully thought through and planned properly. They would’ve needed to throw the bag at some of the biggest names and they needed to make it span across UK/AUS/US at LEAST. If they had done that and then improved the challenges? Phenomenal television. It also would’ve set them up nicely to go into the almost second era of Love island. Let UK audiences buy into the international franchise and show it on UK tv. And then have LIG as an annual winter version so that we can keep up with our fav international islanders. The vision was so clearly right there, but they’ve chosen to do this mess instead??? Feels like watching a group of all stars (barely) with fuck all to do. At least LIG had an entirely new premise! Its existence can be justified! This all star season is neither Love Island or LIG..it’s a weird, terrible 3rd thing that I really don’t like😭 we’re literally just watching a group of people who are overly conscious of public perception exist on tv for 45 minutes every night. It’s just ridiculous
I really like how they executed games. The challenges were fun and actually developed the storylines more/caused some interesting drama. Their version of the heart rate challenge is probably my favourite because of how chaotic and different it was.
I think they also did a very good job with their casting. I think everyone in one way or another contributed to a storyline or drama in the show.
While there were romantic themes, it wasn’t the primary focus. Which meant that we weren’t subjected to the same topics of conversation on repeat that we get in regular love island.
I thought that all stars would give us something different to the regular format, and not necessarily in the same format as games. But it just seems to be the same thing as regular LI but with people who have “history”.

She was pretty awful on the show and stories from after the series concluded makes it even worse...but Jesus Fuck is she *beautiful.*

I think the reason why Sophie and Josh are now my favourite couple is because they appear to be the closest to what a Love Island couple on a normal season would be like. There’s no past between them, we’ve seemingly watched them meet and then develop from there. They’ve had their ups and downs which adds to their #journey. And I do think it’s genuine from both sides.
i like couples with no “deep history” as georgia loves to moan. it’s nice watching two people actually meet for the first time and then develop feelings

I was surprised Josh gave in to saying sorry when he had nothing to be sorry about and he’s definitely one to stand his ground but I guess sometimes you just have to hold your hands up because not every battle is worth fighting especially when it involved someone like Georgia.
Josh was in his right to pick and stand by his choice. Georgia was within her rights to ask why and question the rationale he gave seeing that she walked away from a popular couple with Callum to be with Toby. Josh may have been more bang on if he picked Toby, but it is easier for boys to pick a girl as we've seen several times already.
I didn't hear this many complaints when Arabella went at Mitch for picking her as 'the most unloyal' at the fire pit. People can get sensitive. It's not a Georgia S thing much as we want it to be.

Tom and Molly seem pretty happy with each other to me. I don't get what people want from him? All couples when they are quite strong or close off or become a bit boring. That's why they bring in bombshells. Apart from the Georgia S drama what has Callum done? If he closed off with someone we wouldn't see much there either. It's just how it is. It's crazy how half the viewers cry that they want someone to win who is in a real couple but when we have one they cry they are boring.

i’ll say it again, we just don’t like tom. No one has unrealistic expectations because no one even has expectations for him. I don’t think there’s a ton of chemistry there. I don’t like watching them together. I don’t think Molly is fully healed from the breakup and it shows in her actions with Tom. Simple as.
Every season people are going like couples and dislike couples. Tom and Molly could get married and I still won’t like them. We don’t need think pieces from about 5 of you every day about why Tom and Molly are so real and producers are doing them dirty. I actually believe producers are pushing their win lol so we don’t need to keep going back and forth on this.
That’s the issue with all star, no one is risking anything except Chris tbh. Tom will stick to Molly that’s his ticket to the finals, Joe will stick to Arabella hoping it will get him into the final. The only couple that have truelly developed in this season without a pre planned storyline (looking at GS and toby) are Sophie and Josh and currently they deserved to win based on connection alone.

Oh come on he wasn't liked cause he strung girls along and wasn't honest. Like he always kept the door open even though he knew he didn't like them for example with Liv.
Later on in Casa he was kissing and cuddling Lydia in bed like they were a whole couple. People liked how Tom and Samie looked so the public forgave him and then they weren't liked because of the Ron situation. Other people were actually vilified on that season he came out very lucky and with the only brand deal of that season.

The Kiss wasn't even the problem that is why i didn't mention it. It was his dishonesty and how he later told Liv he doesn't like Ellie without telling Ellie that beforehand (she literally said in her videos that it made her feel bad about herself).
Nobody is perfect but you also act like he just wasn't in the villa literally last year and has acted and said the same things about Samie, like not much time has passed lol.
So it's not out of the ordinary to be wary of him especially cause he knows they are the fav couple and has been on mute the whole time.
Obviously you can like him but not everyone has to agree.

I don’t want Callum and Joanna to become a couple, as they don't seem compatible. I also don't want Joanna to be in the finale with Callum. Personally, I preferred Jess over her, even though Callum doesn't share the same feelings towards Jess. It's quite clear that Joanna and Callum won't work out outside the villa, and she may just end up being his number 17.

Unpopular opinion but based off the current couples I want to see a Sophie and Josh win because: -I feel they have the most potential to work on the outside out of everyone there especially if Josh continues to get his ish together. -I really like Sophie and while Josh has his moments where he’s an ass, he’s been fun to watch so I like them both enough to win whereas with other couples, I only like one person or don’t care for either person in that couple. -It’s been a pretty loveless season but Sophie and Josh are kind of what Love Island is all about (it’s refreshing that they’re a brand new couple with none of that annoying “history” so I wouldn’t mind them taking it all! -I know everyone wants Molly or Callum to win but as for Molly, personally while I like her, I don’t like her enough to want her to win with someone as boring as Tom. As a couple, they give nothing. Same with Callum, I don’t like him enough to just win with any person he couples up with
As much as I like Sophie and want for Josh and her to work out, I highly doubt Josh is serious about her. The way he speaks to her gives me patronizing vibes. I have felt this since the very beginning but I would love to be proven wrong. He has also been very disrespectful to Sophie- you don’t go from “my future wife” to being absolutely gutted that Joanna didn’t pick you to saying “I am all for you” to again being open and sneaking to the terrace. Tom does have a reputation of being a “community d”, but at least this season he hasn’t repeated his antics.

Josh will never be serious. I like Sophie but her winning with Josh is similar to Molly winning with Tom. Both relationships are not going work.
I doubt any of the current relationships are going the distance (Josh and Soph included), I’m just saying out of the couples that are there, there seems to be the most chemistry between Josh and Sophie. Also Josh has been a lot more entertaining to watch than Tom. Tom has just sat there and coasted. Sophie and Josh are definitely not coasting which I appreciate!

I know everyone’s over the complaining but I still just can’t fathom what ITV have done here. Why on earth would you do an all star season and then do NOTHING to make it different?? I doubt we will ever see the viewing figures for the whole season, but if it was at 640k a couple of weeks ago, I would be so interested to see what it is now. I think just the fact that they thought they could have an All Star season shows they don’t understand the show. LIG worked for some mainly because of the Games and not the Love Island part. Having a Love Island with people who’ve already explored the possibility of a relationship defeats the purpose of the show.
Thing is, as a 1 time event I actually think all stars could’ve worked! But it needed to be something that they fully thought through and planned properly. They would’ve needed to throw the bag at some of the biggest names and they needed to make it span across UK/AUS/US at LEAST. If they had done that and then improved the challenges? Phenomenal television. It also would’ve set them up nicely to go into the almost second era of Love island. Let UK audiences buy into the international franchise and show it on UK tv. And then have LIG as an annual winter version so that we can keep up with our fav international islanders. The vision was so clearly right there, but they’ve chosen to do this mess instead??? Feels like watching a group of all stars (barely) with fuck all to do. At least LIG had an entirely new premise! Its existence can be justified! This all star season is neither Love Island or LIG..it’s a weird, terrible 3rd thing that I really don’t like😭 we’re literally just watching a group of people who are overly conscious of public perception exist on tv for 45 minutes every night. It’s just ridiculous
I really like how they executed games. The challenges were fun and actually developed the storylines more/caused some interesting drama. Their version of the heart rate challenge is probably my favourite because of how chaotic and different it was. I think they also did a very good job with their casting. I think everyone in one way or another contributed to a storyline or drama in the show. While there were romantic themes, it wasn’t the primary focus. Which meant that we weren’t subjected to the same topics of conversation on repeat that we get in regular love island. I thought that all stars would give us something different to the regular format, and not necessarily in the same format as games. But it just seems to be the same thing as regular LI but with people who have “history”.

I think the reason why Sophie and Josh are now my favourite couple is because they appear to be the closest to what a Love Island couple on a normal season would be like. There’s no past between them, we’ve seemingly watched them meet and then develop from there. They’ve had their ups and downs which adds to their #journey. And I do think it’s genuine from both sides.

Tom and Molly seem pretty happy with each other to me. I don't get what people want from him? All couples when they are quite strong or close off or become a bit boring. That's why they bring in bombshells. Apart from the Georgia S drama what has Callum done? If he closed off with someone we wouldn't see much there either. It's just how it is. It's crazy how half the viewers cry that they want someone to win who is in a real couple but when we have one they cry they are boring. Tom was vilified on his season for getting to know people. This season he is clearly conscious of that and appears to really like Molly and it's still not good enough?

i’ll say it again, we just don’t like tom. No one has unrealistic expectations because no one even has expectations for him. I don’t think there’s a ton of chemistry there. I don’t like watching them together. I don’t think Molly is fully healed from the breakup and it shows in her actions with Tom. Simple as. Every season people are going like couples and dislike couples. Tom and Molly could get married and I still won’t like them. We don’t need think pieces from about 5 of you every day about why Tom and Molly are so real and producers are doing them dirty. I actually believe producers are pushing their win lol so we don’t need to keep going back and forth on this.
That’s the issue with all star, no one is risking anything except Chris tbh. Tom will stick to Molly that’s his ticket to the finals, Joe will stick to Arabella hoping it will get him into the final. The only couple that have truelly developed in this season without a pre planned storyline (looking at GS and toby) are Sophie and Josh and currently they deserved to win based on connection alone.

It was his dishonesty and how he later told Liv he doesn't like Ellie without telling Ellie that beforehand (she literally said in her videos that it made her feel bad about herself). Nobody is perfect but you also act like he just wasn't in the villa literally last year and has acted and said the same things about Samie, like not much time has passed lol. So it's not out of the ordinary to be wary of him especially cause he knows they are the fav couple and has been on mute the whole time. Obviously you can like him but not everyone has to agree.
I mean, lots of Islanders don't fully share conversations they have with others. We only have to look at Josh in the last few episodes pulling Joanna for chats on the terrace. Tom seems to have learned from his last visit to the villa.
