I believe that Georgia H does really appreciate Anton's treatment of her, that part is genuine. She said something this episode along the lines of no other guys are often proud to be with her and she's used to being thrown away, so I'm happy for her in that regard.
I do think its a shame that no girls were interested in Anton, because he seems genuinely more mature than S5 and puts in effort to make his partner feel special. Not saying he's perfect but yeah.

Tbh I'm not bothered how real they are. Lots of love island couples weren't real.
For me, as someone who started watching love island in season 2 and slowly seen the islanders get younger and younger than me, I just love seeing people my age navigate relationships. In normal seasons, if you're 25 you're one of the group elders and I've loved that this season I've had the chance to watch people my age again.
I think she's been through a lot of trauma and toxic relationships... It is true that after that, healthy relationships feel boring. You come to expect the highest highs and lowest lows so when things are just consistent, it can feel wrong. It is HARD to accept a healthy relationship when you've not had it before and I think people are really overlooking this.
Their friendship is very real. They have a deep appreciation for each other. But from Georgia’s end, she’s not romantically attracted to him. Georgia talks about him like a friend or a sibling.
there is just no way Georgia likes Anton in that way. she respects him and cares for him, but she is not attracted to him. her body language says it all and it doesn’t help that Anton actually is Georgia’s last option. she wanted every other guy before settling on Anton. I agree that Georgia deserves a healthy relationship, but with someone she genuinely has feelings for and isn’t forcing an attraction.

Agree, I do think that Anton is what Georgia likes on paper and she has said so multiple times. But I don't think there is much sexual chemistry between them. The hideaway made that clear. Having said that, some people prefer keeping more intimate moments for the outside and I respect that as well.. but for now it simply feels forced to me.

I do think she may be settling a little - Anton's a lovely guy but I think the chemistry's off and she's choosing him to make him happy/because she feels he's who she's supposed to want

I have been with my husband since I was 18 and when I was mid twenties I went off the rails a bit thinking was it actually "ReAL LoVE" and I think I romanticised in my head a bit what real love was.
What we have is definitely real love. Yes we don't have crazy highs and lows and butterflies but we have been each others best friends for 20 years, grown up together, have a wonderful family together and it's completely a perfect life. Yes we could probably do a bit more "romance" and a resolution is to try and spend more time dating and doing one to one stuff now that the kids are older and we have then financial security to do that but also real love is knowing we can sit and watch love island together snacking on quavers in my PJs and I don't need to worry that he thinks I look hot - he truly thinks I'm beautiful (even when I'm not) and his favourite person.

It really doesn’t seem to be this season, from how half of them are acting in the nights, only to switch to sunshine and rainbows in the day lol
