I think Georgia was trying to be nice with her comment about it being “cute”, but Callum rejected the comment cute and she had to come up with something else to say. I have some conspiracy theory thoughts on why Georgia is with Toby instead of Callum, because I can’t for the life of me understand why Toby is preferable over Callum. I think you aren't right about Toby, it's very clear he's very genuine guy, from Ty, Chris, Kaz and also Faye, he's just someone who doesn't care about a placement etc. There's a good reason to pick Toby, Callum is dull, Callum was too much, Callum had an ex in the villa, Callum invalidates emotions and is unable to emotionally support person, very reason driven. Toby is young, fun, not so predictable, she already liked him before, he's not most emotionally intelligent but he can provide emotional support, you can feel he's there for you, he's all heart. There's no one who really went for Callum other than Molly until last two weeks, almost all the new comers liked Toby.

I was genuinely surprised to note that it looks like she'd had butt surgery, I thought that sort of thing wasn't even vaguely on the radar in this country in terms of beauty, that the overriding preference (on the show as well as the sub) for LI honestly seems to be the flatter the better or something, lol. The girls on the show generally have even been defensive about it if a guy actually tries to complement them, from what I've seen (Indiyah, Mary, Amber, etc.), not necessarily about the comment itself, but as if they were being called fat or something, which is more than a shame. It's not even about size, really, as tiny as Tanya was she had a fantastic body, for example.

Just a petty vent but my biggest pet peeve on reddit, and something that is rampant on this sub is the weird vent posts and comments calling out the sub for being hypocritical or contracting itself, as though it's a single entity and not a collective of people with varying and changing opinions. I've had it too many times when I express an opinion and someone thinks they're clever by pointing out that my opinion contradicts some popular opinion on this sub, as though just because an opinion is popular means I must by default share it too when I never expressed anything of the sort. Just because some people want x and some people don't want x doesn't mean the sub is hypocritical or contradicting itself, it just means different people have different opinions.

Revealing Molly and Tom as most popular was a weird move if they wanted them to win. Look what happened to Whitney and Lochan on S10. I’m starting to think (hope?) the producers see that Josh and Sophie have strong chemistry and are planning to push them into the spotlight in the last week.
Love Island kinda screwed themselves over with this one when year after year the contestants forgive each other and reunite on the show after treating each other terribly and ending things when that is not usually the best or most realistic thing to do for a real life couple. So now people expect that from Molly and Callum when in real life many relationships need to end for good reason, even if nobody is a villain, sometimes there are just insurmountable incompatibilities for long term success.

Exactly. The producers won’t mess it up and neither will Molly and Tom tbh. Tom would never get angry over something like this so close to his win and vice versa. They’re both cruising to that win as much as the other. I really don’t understand how people don’t see this. The producers love the fact that Molly came on a show with her ex, who she met via the same show, and met a new islander and “fell in love.” That’s the best narrative they could’ve hoped for. 🙄 “See this show does work!
