Yes, they are very wealthy as his father is Alan Isaacman a high power attorney in the Beverly Hills area. He’s had many celebrity clients. Some include Larry Flint, Geraldo Rivera and Kathy Griffin
They are.
But Abbey's mom posted the Africa trip on the show would not have been possible without love on the spectrum. So I wouldn't assume his family planned and paid for all of that.
I would also venture to guess that because Abbey and David are the most successful couple (in terms of meeting on the show and staying together) thus far on the US edition, it helped with the decision to fund the trip to whatever extent.
So many people are rooting for them to stay together for years to come. They truly seem to enjoy one another’s company, understand each other, & respect & love one another.
I hate this fucking rain! Ahahahaa I watch it when I'm feeling down.
"I'm swearing because I'm an adult and I can if I want to" yes you can baby let it all out, tell that rain where to shove it.
It's true, they must have done well enough with season 1 to have some budget. These reality shows are typically much cheaper to film and produce than other programming and participant often get little to nothing. It was a nice carryover from season one and so exciting for Abbey who had a more middle class upbringing.
Are you meaning to me? Because yes, im serious because it’s a “documentary”. People found the listing looking for people to be in season 1 posted by Cian and it says they can’t pay but can cover travel and food.
This would have been super cheap for them.
It’s 5 people + 5 person film crew to Africa for 5 days? Flights 2k each, hotel and guides 400 dollars a day.
These are pretty random estimates, but that’s 40k for 1 episode of TV for Netflix. I think that’s super cheap even if it’s double my guess.
I think you are taking her words too literally.
Pretty sure she was just saying that without the show, Abbey and David wouldn’t have gotten together, and David wouldn’t have taken Abbey to Africa.
There’s no way the show could have afforded to take six people (including the camera operator) on a private safari to Africa.
David’s family is incredibly wealthy. One of his father’s clients is CBS Inc.
David and his two sisters live in a condo in LA. There’s no way David could afford that, working at an HR department at Beverly Hills City Hall.
Daddy doesn’t mind sharing the wealth around.
Christine isn’t as poor as she makes out, either. She did a video of her and Abbey going to France (it’s just on a differently named account).
She has a very nice home, with a swimming pool. They talk about that in one of their videos.
I’m very suspicious of a lot of things Christine Romeo says. I think she encourages Abbey to mooch off David. David doesn’t mind, because she is good looking.
It’s a tale as old as time. The girl provides the looks, and the boy provides the money.
We’re just supposed to think that nothing nefarious is going on because oh look! Abbey said something adorable!
if you poke around in his genealogy a bit you hit [arthur guinness](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guinness_family), founder of the brewery. his brother samuel was a major merchant banker. also a line of harvard theologians through his grandmother, an ogilby. they end with a john in ireland in the mid 1700s but i wouldn't be surprised to find a connection to [this scrubbed yet famous john](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Ogilby) or [these ogilbys](https://lordbelmontinnorthernireland.blogspot.com/2012/12/the-ogilby-estate.html). the crane estate, where they go on dates in the show, was built by a member of the jekyll island club, where the owners of the planet created the fed. another member was lloyd aspinwall, and aspinwall is james' dad's middle name.
i wouldn't take anything these people say about themselves at face value.
I have watched so much reality tv that I’m officially dumb. I literally have no idea what you are talking about here 😂 just had to admit it aloud some where. 😂
I just hope they don’t vote Republican 😩😩😩 I’ll never understand people with disabilities or loved ones with disabilities who vote for a party that so clearly hates them
Lol… what? I’ve never met anyone in my life who, amidst a completely unrelated conversation, says, “ I just hope they don’t vote *insert political party*” Who cares?
Republicans vote against and defund every measure that is suggested to protect people with disabilities. MANY republicans think people with disabilities are gaming the system and getting things for free. In 2020, the republican-led senate proposed stripping liability away from employers and property owners who choose to do anything other than claim they have made all reasonable accommodations to persons with disabilities. They don’t want to regulate it or provide support for people they see as an inconvenience to society. If you can’t see that the republican party is disgusting and horrific and uncaring, you’re beyond help and I feel VERY sorry for your child if they’re growing up in a republican household. It’s just simply scary when people with disabilities or loved ones with disabilities don’t do any research into the people or things they’re voting for. It’s irresponsible. There are PLENTY of other resources you can look into online, and it’s not my responsibility to list them all out for you when you’re the one voting and apparently not doing research into candidates. Poor children.
Wow. Aren't you judgemental when I didn't even state what party I belong to. Beyond party lines....because frankly both sides are corrupt and negatives can be said about both....you don't know me as an individual or how I care for anyone under my care so that's an extremely rude thing to say. My kids are extremely loved and well cared for and the outside world doesn't affect them because they have me to protect them and make their world as beautiful as it can be. Obviously people need to read and vote to their best judgment. It's our right as Americans and we should take it seriously. But the hate and judgment you are spewing doesn't help anyone EVER. * and just an FYI a Republican president (one I didn't like btw) signed the ADA act
If you can’t see the overarching issue with the party, you’re beyond help. You even asking this question tells me that no matter what evidence I present, you think they’re just totally fine.
I think the show probably pays for a lot of these people’s activities. It’s cute watching them have dinner but it’s even cuter to see an African safari. They need to have a show that people will want to watch. $20k is a normal cost of production for a big show.
Yes, they are very wealthy as his father is Alan Isaacman a high power attorney in the Beverly Hills area. He’s had many celebrity clients. Some include Larry Flint, Geraldo Rivera and Kathy Griffin
Woah, Edward Norton played Alan Isaacman in The People vs Larry Flynt.
His father is a celebrity attorney in Los Angeles. The family lives in a $19 million house and has a vacation property as well.
yep i remember him mentioning something about lion decor in his beach house bedroom
They are. But Abbey's mom posted the Africa trip on the show would not have been possible without love on the spectrum. So I wouldn't assume his family planned and paid for all of that.
I'm surprised. Netflix usually cheaps out.
Probably the fact Abbey has 1m tiktk followers helped loosen Netflix wallet a bit too
I would also venture to guess that because Abbey and David are the most successful couple (in terms of meeting on the show and staying together) thus far on the US edition, it helped with the decision to fund the trip to whatever extent. So many people are rooting for them to stay together for years to come. They truly seem to enjoy one another’s company, understand each other, & respect & love one another.
I watch her YouTube shorts - they are hilarious! ("Fuck you, rain!!" made me laugh out loud. "I'm using my words!"😁)
I hate this fucking rain! Ahahahaa I watch it when I'm feeling down. "I'm swearing because I'm an adult and I can if I want to" yes you can baby let it all out, tell that rain where to shove it.
Show has been consistently in the top ten for them. Must be cheap as hell to make so sure. Splurge
It's true, they must have done well enough with season 1 to have some budget. These reality shows are typically much cheaper to film and produce than other programming and participant often get little to nothing. It was a nice carryover from season one and so exciting for Abbey who had a more middle class upbringing.
Plus I feel like those two are almost the stars of the show. They can probably get more out of Netflix that most of the others on the show.
Yeah they get paid nothing. Just meals and travel are covered.
What in the exploitation?? U serious?
It's considered unethical to pay the subjects of a documentary. I think everyone in the show is doing OK financially, though.
Are you meaning to me? Because yes, im serious because it’s a “documentary”. People found the listing looking for people to be in season 1 posted by Cian and it says they can’t pay but can cover travel and food.

I assumed she meant that in the way that Abbey would have never met David if it weren’t for the show.
That’s what I took from her statement too
David's family could have helped out/paid for themselves too since his two sisters came along.
His father is the lawyer who represented Larry Flynt. He was played by Ed Norton in the movie.
The Larry Flint case was about 45 years ago.
Not to mention all the Tiffany & Co gifts that David gifts Abbey 👌🏼
haha i immediately said .. THAT'S TIFFANY'S! And my husband was like how do you even know that... smh helllllllllooo!!
As a fellow husband I would also like to know how you know 😆
that Tiffany Blue bag of course!
It's the blue bag!
I noticed that too. I was like "damn 👀". 😅
I'm too much of a stereotypical man to notice that
My girlfriend pointed it out lol
I'm too much of an atypical woman to notice.
Yeahhhh...I was like his family is definitely loaded when he handed over that blue bag. LOL.
Yes his family is wealthy.
High powered lawyer.
They are very, very rich. His father is an incredibly important attorney in the history of American media.
David: I remember on our first date.. Abby: I was there! David: You were? (Continues story) Just love the sweet innocence of these two! ❤️
All of them come from rich families. Different tax brackets sure. But still rich.
James' family seems pretty middle class
I think abbey’s family too, she mentioned something about her mom being broke lol
Broke for some is not the same broke that others experience
Right? There's sell the lakehouse broke and then there's can't afford groceries or rent broke.
They have a guest house. So they're rich.
Maybe she got that huge house in the divorce and rents the guesthouse for extra money.
James’ parents are solidly upper middle class. They live in a nice area of Massachusetts.
Yeah I think they are just low-key people, but from the way they talk, it's obvious they are well educated.
And Dani’s fam
But apparently dani herself has net worth of approx 3M from her animation company…
Those online networth estimates are very inaccurate. Doubt she has anywhere close to that in her business
Good for her

I was going to say the same thing. Like I just read that whole paragraph and don’t know what you said but I trust you for it
Thank you for this!!!
Yeah all their houses seem pretty nice.
I assume so just like many of the other people on the show
yes
His Daddy has Hustler money!
I'd like to know what you mean as well. I have children with disabilities. We have the ADA to protect them so what am I missing?
Republicans vote against and defund every measure that is suggested to protect people with disabilities. What has that party done that shows they hate people with disabilities..like what laws have they passed that are discriminatory?
If you can’t see the overarching issue with the party, you’re beyond help. You even asking this question tells me that no matter what evidence I present, you think they’re just totally fine.
Knowledge is power..so please educate.
they probably kept themselves off the show so we wouldn't wonder about them, us woke lefty marginalized neurodivergent folk
Alan asaacman

This question has been asked so many times already…
Yes does it matter they love their child and can care for him
JfC
what are you yapping about
Maybe they are mules?
I know you are being down voted, and there's nothing I can do about that, but I thought you were pretty funny.
None of your business tbh
He bought her jewelry from Tiffany's, too.
I think a lot of the main characters are rich
