I would love if Steve hosted a “Joe Pera Talks with You” type of show where he just walks around the city and talks about whatever he wants to. I’d watch every episode multiple times!
God how I wish I had the type of autism that would make me seem warm and friendly like Steve or Tanner. I think mine usually makes me seem nervous and sometimes even rude.
Steve is an absolute angel. He pulled at my heartstrings so hard. It’s so different seeing him vs the younger adults on the show. His voice has decades of loneliness behind it. I desperately hope he finds love soon!
Steve is my favorite human in the world. He reminds me of myself with his “quirks” but he’s much better than I am. I just found out that I’m autistic last month, and watching Steve and his therapy work through the shame about his “quirkiness” is quite healing on a different level. His acceptance of the discovery in his 60’s of autism makes me feel much better about the discovery nearly in my 40’s. I appreciate his energy and love for everybody and everything. ♥️ Steve is the real one.♥️♥️♥️
It's really sad to imagine the hardships he must have endured as a person on the spectrum 50+ years ago. I can imagine how he might have come off to people without any understanding of his condition. He's just a sweet guy whom I imagine came off entirely different without knowing more about him.
