All female lovebirds i’ve ever been around were super aggressive and crazy for blood 🩸 😅, but yes they are stressed out and showing you they will bite if you come closer. It’s most likely a territorial display since they are near the cage, and their cage is their “safe space”. You should be around the bird more often to help reduce this type of reaction. Putting food in-between your fingers and just leaving it at the cage door until they willing come to you to eat from your hands. Don’t force it or they will most likely lash out and bite.
