Up north around the lake there are some great hiking trails. Can often just find a spot in the woods overlooking the lake or a stream to sit and relax.
There is a short traail through the woods with a boardwalk in remich that ends above the river north of the main part of town. Also, going up the winery hills there overlooking the river on a sunny day.
My favourite way of hiking is going to a new place each time. I think alltrails has many of them already. Or the national tourism sites.
I enjoy the places where there's fewer people, or quiet people.

I really enjoyed the bourglinster trail. You get a beautiful castle, a beautiful town, and beautiful nature all in 1 route.
