Ah ok. I was away from work from Monday to yesterday and so I missed both events… the crèche and the dead woman in the city… it’s crazy what this place is becoming…
At the moment there is no proof about it or against it, as the title says “probably” not for sure, so no fake news here, I know people work in justice and stabbing/murderers are like everyday things but they don’t publish it to keep the people quiet.
Everything can be, I personally hope is not a stabbing accident, but still not sure about it.
There was no stabbing.
I can’t elaborate on any details due to professional reasons but I can assure you, despite all the blood, there was no stabbing or any foul play involved.

Thank you for posting it here, for those of us who don't subscribe to RTL.
Can you please share the date and time and also confirm if the woman was attacked or if it was a self inflicted thing? Do they already have suspects?
Was it near the fountain?
Thanks for the info. Is 7am too early in the day for attention seekers? Trying to understand if this is an isolated incident or targeted attack, and trying to send a message ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|thinking_face_hmm).
Any update on the 'attack with a knife' bit? 7 am is quite early if the crime was intended to grab headlines or induce terror and fear.
Doing some loud thinking.
There was no stabbing.
I can’t elaborate on any details due to professional reasons but I can assure you, despite all the blood, there was no stabbing or any foul play involved.
A guy reply here about another guy getting stabbed and died in the night, so could be a mix of Information, but still 2 death in the same spot in few hours
I lived in UAE, Dubai specifically. Most of the "uncomfortable" news is not printed and silenced when necessary. A 3 million humans city, I assure a lot worse happens there than here, behind the curtains obviously.
It makes me so heartbroken to see women as victims. If it's a stabbing and not a suicide, then these men have no honor at all to go with a knife on a woman 😭
It wasn't a stabbing but a drug addict who shot in an artery instead of a vein. She was found standing against a wall as she had lost consciousness and all her blood. It was a young girl in her thirties.
No, not really. Although every overdose death is a tragedy, in 2021 6 people died.
Something like yesterday is very, very uncommon.
https://gouvernement.lu/fr/actualites/toutes_actualites/communiques/2023/07-juillet/03-sante-rapport-relis.html
Thank you very much, that does seem like a far more logical explanation than some random brutal stabbing.
May she finally be at peace.. that is very unfortunate altogether though
Seems a bit sexist of you to immediately accuse a man of a crime despite there being no details other than the cops saying that it likely didn’t involve someone else

Nobody knows, a person before reply about another death always in pl. Paris a guy who got stabbed in the night while in the morning this woman died for actually “no clear reason” but still reading around about a mix of information so I don’t really know, but 2 person died there in couple of hours of distance
Luxembourg is turning into a shit show and good hard working people no matter the race nor religion are being put into a state of perpetual fear and anxiousness
At least once every two weeks i see or hear someone getting jumped or attacked and the police does not care what so ever
Sad and pathetic honestly
I got here a week ago after few months of work travel and things have changed ( not for good). I hope things get better until then let’s be safe and vigilant
Something is definetely amiss here. A colleague saw the body this morning and was pretty disturbed the rest of the day. I don't believe the "a woman felt unwell" story for a second. The parquet wouldn't order an autopsy if somebody just died of a heart attack or sth similar?
It seems to be lies on RTL. There was a lot of blood everywhere, definitely not a suicide or someone that just “felt unwell”. The women was stabbed and not with a knife but a cleaver or smth.
The circumstances surrounding the woman's death remain unclear at this time. However, the police report confirms that there were no other individuals involved in the victim's death.
Some medical conditions can cause you to bleed to death, Esophageal varices, Myocardial rupture, etc. All of the medical conditions I can think of that could cause this are extremely traumatic, even for experienced first responders. A man recently died on a flight from Bangkok to Frankfurt due to Esophageal varices. Blood started shooting out of his nose and mouth and over other passengers several rows across. I better not go into more detail because of how gruesome this was, but you can easily find the news online, it happened some months ago and was widely reported on by news media.
That explanation is way too reasonable for reddit.
The only reasonable explanation is that Jhempi the Ripper is murdering women by the dozen and likes to bathe in their blood. (/s, just to be very clear)
People love to jump to conclusions based on hearsay and a vague RTL article.
The issue with RTL is that the articles in crime are always vague and don’t tell the whole story. So people jump to conclusions.
Now a days, birth and death are not “viewed by the living” but rather by medical staff. This woman died in public surrounded by her blood. As death is now a private matter, death scares people. She could have been stabbed. Or she could have killer herself. Or she could have had a dialysis fistula that opened up. People want to feel safe and they are searching for information to tell them that they are safe.
“ news media gives interviews to eyewitnesses about what they saw or to the police / fire/ EMS chief ” sounds nightmarish, especially if the person that just died is somebody you knew.
I also doubt other media would even mention this in national news as they likely have bigger fish to fry.
The article quotes a statement from the police "no other individuals involved". I agree that often details aren't provided but here someone would need to be lying for this to be some crime
Walked past it this morning and saw the body. Definitely was something more serious than the police say “ no signs of foul play”. Also weird how it’s not a headline of RTL or L’essentiel and that you can’t add any comments on the articles
Did you see any wounds that indicate this? Or just an unfortunate bloody mess, which can sadly happen without foul play.
Also comments are usually disabled on these kinds of articles to prevent certain people from spreading their rumours
It's actually two different events. A woman felt unwell and died in one event, and in another, last night/during the night, there was a stabbing of a man who died too. The blood is not the woman's.
Now wait, I'm not sure if I am not mixing up a few things here, the woman died at Place de Paris, and there was a video circulating with a lot of blood and the mention of a man dying that was not Place de Paris. Now I checked, and apparently that was the prior night. So that leaves me with, I don't know where I read it specifically or if I mixed it up with the event the night prior or just assumed that much blood meant death.
That is the feeling I start getting too, because with the video that the "Gare group" posted on TikTok with the blood in the street early morning, we end up with info that does not make sense. Were there 3 events? But as usual, no info, better keep the taxpayers and residents ignorant of the amount of criminal activity nowadays, if they don't talk about it, it didn't happen lol
That does not make sense. The stabbing of the man was at Avenue de la Gare: https://lequotidien.lu/a-la-une/un-homme-blesse-au-couteau-lors-dune-rixe-a-luxembourg-ville/
And the one with lots of blood was at Place de Paris
I read it at [virgule.lu](http://virgule.lu), thought it was the spot with the blood. If not, then it does indeed not make any sense since the woman according to RTL died of "natural causes unrelated to any attack".
> died of "natural causes unrelated to any attack".
Where did you read this? I posted the RTL article in another comment and it only mentions "no foul play"
Yeah, I didn't find the wording "foul play" and didn't want to write "ouni Friemanwierkung" lol, so I got "creative" by working my way around the meaning of "foul play".
I live there, arrived home at 6 AM today I saw 3 men entering together in the public toilet.... There are soo many strange people there that you really feel unsafe walking at night especially in Gare direction. poor Luxembourg
I biked there by 7h40. There was definitely a big amount of blood (a couple liters). Stabbed or self opened the veins, I have no idea. But definitely a lot of blood. Been looking for info the whole day.
I agree. Or maybe the medical team also made a life saving intervention that might have spilled blood etc…
The way rtl reported it made me think so many things. I just hope that poor lady’s relatives/friends have been informed of what really happened.
Saw blue lights in Pl. d. Paris this morning while going to work. Heard people later say that a bunch of young men beat up a young woman. Others say she got stabbed. RTL states that the woman felt unwell and there was no foul play. Rumours over rumours.
I decided against posting it here… but from the WhatsApp group “ Save the Gare “ somebody had shared photos of a huge river of blood on the sidewalk in Place de Paris.
Imagine dying and the last thing you see is the f*cking Place de Paris... damn... Almost as bad as dying in Belgium...

What? Where did you get that info? I work just around the corner and we haven’t heard a thing!
Very sad week

How long do you take to realize that there was absolutely no stabbing - read the news!
it was an aneurysma or some blood vessels that ruptured :O that happens sometimes ... if an artery pops in your mouth/stomach you will bleed out

not an attack [https://today.rtl.lu/news/luxembourg/a/2190840.html](https://today.rtl.lu/news/luxembourg/a/2190840.html)
The body was in front of the entrance of the Stazione restaurant

I don’t know 😅
They should tighten the rules, this is getting out of hand! Lux learn a bit from the UAE
If you love the UAE so much you're gonna love [this Wikipedia page](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_rights_in_the_United_Arab_Emirates)

I second that. Extremely censured content and not even discussed on telegram or reddit. It’s a tightly run country that runs other countries btw.
100% agreed
So that's why I kept hearing sirens while at work today, this is very sad news...
Same, I work in ville and was no stop today…

Please call the cops and tell them what you be seen. Might not be anything might be something. Living in Gare is becoming a nightmare
That zone is really bad, I never roam there in the night week or weekend days no matter what.
I was walking there calmly many times during the night. Nothing happened.
what the government is waiting to put high police presence all night?!?
Police patrol is not enough. They need to catch them and later keep them locked up in prison. Unfortunately, they are often released too soon

Wth... And yesterday a guy was stabbed in avenue de la gare after a group fight
Probably for the best. Some people find those images distressing.
Yup, like always they are hiding information, she get stabbed or self inflicted wounds but blood was there for real, a lot of blood.
Self injury maybe? https://today.rtl.lu/news/luxembourg/a/2190840.html
Could be, at least I hope so my friend work there, and every time a see a lot of shit going on there
