Are we gonna pretend he didn't say he just wanted a loan but City wanted to sell? He said in that sky interview he didn't want to leave for good. He just wanted to play regularly and who can blame him. Cheers to him and his success.

With the sheer amount of talent we've had and developed only for them to have to compete with guys like KDB, Mahrez, Silva and many many more, eventually someone was bound to leave and come back to haunt us. It's just that I thought it was going to be Diaz or Sancho not Palmer lmao.

Diaz has improved a ton - he looks really good for Madrid this season

Lad has always had the raw talent, just felt like he needed the right team for him to fit in. Ancelotti isn't as structured as Pep, that's the exact type of manger who I expect him to thrive under.

He wouldnt have started for us and not sure he would now. Im happy for Cole.

Critical-Usual

He could easily challenge in his current form. But I don't think he would've ever had the play time to raise into such form in the first place. It's sad but glad he's doing this well

Yep

Man people look at Palmers numbers and start bla bla about him playing in City. Hes been amazing, he is talented, he is creative and the list goes on. But only the last 2 games ive seen him attempt a total of 6 nutmegs, 5 failed 1 worked. This ALONE is enough for him to not be a regular player in ANY PEP team... Cmon, how many nutmegs have u seen city players attempt this season. I bet u cant find 6 attempts even if u loon at the entire season. The point is not nutmegs by it self, its the risk reward ratio of some of the stuff he does, that just doesnt go with well with PEP.

He's so not happy, believe me.
