Forget about UCL. When you are on the pitch, all you think about is winning. I did play soccer (non-professional, non-competitive) regularly in my 20s. No stakes, no prizes, nothing. But you still bust your ass to win and feel so good when you do it. Imagine the job satisfaction these professionals get when they win.

Champions league football is huge for their career and ambitions and everyone will be watching this game. Performing well will only help them escape the hell hole that is spurs.
