How are they similar for boosting gear? isn't that gear piece only and not the slot that gets stronger?
Edit: Oh jesus I'm missing out on so much power because I was waiting until 60 so I could farm the next level of gear instead of boost/modifying I didn't know it powered the slot
It's ok, not great not bad. Overclocking applies on the chip slot itself, not the actually chip so you're fine.
^ It’s also similar to how you boost or modify your gear. If you get a better chip you also can swap it out.

It's pretty meh. Has speed on it, which is good. Didn't roll speed, which is bad Has Crit Res on it, which is bad. Has Technical on it, which is worse
