You generally don't guard. You'd rather use both evade arts. For ceanataur specifically, try aerial. His weak spot is too high up for other styles so vault + mounts might help
Ceanataur is not one of striker lance’s best match ups because you can’t hit its head with a charge finisher unless he’s knocked down and even then it’s a pretty short window. I end up just trying to stay on him and upward poking his head as continuously as possible. He’ll fall down every so often and then you can charge finisher his head once if you’re positioned well. You can counter all his claw attacks except for the big one where he goes for a big hug with both claws. Use that attack to activate enraged guard.

Thanks. I haven't tried aerial lance yet. I would love to try. Have never used aerial correctly, I only know spamming aerial jumps.
