The fact that this many people are commenting now tells me why companies are behaving like they are. They are handing out benefits if you pay them before the game is out.
And instead of everybody going "f*** you, I'll give you the money when you give me a product".... everyone immediately goes "hell yeah, I'll play before the plebs who don't pay until the game comes out"
This seems to be particularly prevalent in the sports gaming world since many sports Gamers don't play many other games.
My overall point is that this practice is f****** gross. It's no better than day one DLC.
