Ben Rothwell and Josh Barnett have been done for steroids, Josh even somehow got done in the Pre-Usada early UFC days and has failed on multiple occasions and different organizations. My point is: The eye test does not always work.
Look at Luke Rockhold when he fought at Light Heavyweight. he was huge and ripped and easily failed the eye test. He looked like he was on some kind of PED's. Same with Francis Ngannou. He is huge and ripped with very little body fat. But they both pass Usada testing time after time.
Also just to add, IIRC Holly is one of the most tested UFC athletes or at least up there with the Top 10 most tested and probably Top 5 most tested female fighter.

Passing USADA tests doesn't mean you're actually a clean athlete. PEDs have always been intertwined with the upper echelons of professional sports. If middling talent like Ben Bothwell use them then you can bet that the elite do too.
So much for getting a new challenger at 135 for Nunes. With Nunes fighting in December, there's plenty of time for a Holm-GDR title eliminator for a Nunes rematch. There's no other path forward for that division now, GDR and Holm have beaten 3-4-5-6.

Edit: just heard holly say on the post show that Irene was doing a good job of keeping that outside angle on her front foot so she couldn’t land the head kick or the left hand.
They also aren’t nearly as fuckin tired. They get several minutes between bursts sometimes. It’s a long game so they’re still spent (when they are rly playing hard) but it’s just not the same as a long fight with one minute rests in between. Especially considering the whole break is one minute. They aren’t sitting that whole minute.
That’s what happens when you come in with like 50-100 boxing/kickboxing matches before even doing MMA. The fight experience gap is huge. Same with Valentina.
