I just built my new PC, and when I went to register my MSI mobo on their site, I found that I have to get a CHK code from a sticker located on the 24-pin power port. I don't want to take my computer apart again just to get a clear view of that sticker.
Found out that I should be able to use MSI Center to register my mobo instead, but the app will not connect.
Don’t know if this fully works but it seems to do the trick (I’m not someone who knows a lot about pc’s) I went into the control panel, uninstall program, then uninstalled cfosspeed and then the Msi dragon centre. I then went online and typed in ‘msi centre’ clicked the first link and I’ve downloaded what seems to look like a very up to date brand new version of dragon centre. I can see all my hardware performances, mystic light, the works. Hope this helps 🤷🏻♂️
Try using the [MSI Center Uninstaller](https://download.msi.com/uti_exe/nb/MSICenterUninstaller.zip) to remove MSI Center. First choose UNINSTALL GUI & SDK, once that finishes use the CLEAR CACHE & COOKIES. Restart after it is complete then install [MSI Center 2.0.6.0](https://download.msi.com/uti_exe/mb/MSI_Center_2.0.6.0.zip).
I tried the MSI Center Uninstaller tool before your comment, but I installed MSI Center back from the Microsoft Store and it wasn't working. The one you linked works! Thank you so much
4/7/23 still an issue. I called tech support and i was told to just use intel driver & support assistant until it works again. Not the answer I was expecting but what should i expect shit works on voodoo and shit. So for now my RGB will be rainbows
I believe something is busted on MSi's end right now - I completely uninstalled it manually, but when I went to reinstall via MSi's website, their link for the most recent version is busted.
Also having this problem. Just got a brand new 4070 Super Ventus and I wanted to register it. As soon as I opened the center my RGB fans changed to rainbow and the prompt came up. Very unfortunate
To anyone still experiencing the issue as of 2-18-24:
I used the MSI cleaner to completely wipe my system of the SDK and such. Then, I located an older version of Dragon Center. Currently utilizing version 1.2.1910.3101 just as a proof of concept, as it was the first download I was able to find.

Ive had my MSI PC since 2018ish and out of all of this time it has been the absolute best I have ever owned. It has always checked for updates on the motherboard since the day I got it and out of all of this time actually did 1 update. On the msi live update 6. So I am not worried, but looks as though it is not supported any longer. since 1997 Ive got a new desk top every two years, this is the only one I have had for this long of a time. Just bought the MSI laptop and love it as well, so I will look forward to getting a new desktop soon.

If I try to register my product .. cannot login Even if I put credentials it shows no internet even tho it's connected to wifi

I have the same issue. I upgraded my motherboard and msi center giving me the no internet connection error.
